A stack of pamphlets on how to make pentagrams. Free
Blueprints for a horrible circular looking bedroom. Free
Application Form for V.C.S, whoever and whatever they are. Five bucks

An empty wine bottle in the shape of Mother Mary. Five Bucks.
A magnifying glass. Five bucks.
An ugly hand painted Ace of Spades. Five bucks.
A copy of the Strategy Game Equinox. Five Bucks

You acquire some printed comics from yesteryear. The jokes in them seem pretty much like dad jokes in pictorial form.

Merrick: The person in the spa is a regular here. I think he is an employee. But I don’t know him personally. Regarding the locked doors, get the girl at the service desk to call security about the problem. They’ll get them open again

The camera being held by Charlie shows a photo:
You see a Santa, and various children sitting on his lap in a number of photos. Nothing interesting, bar one. There seems to be a photo of Santa with some of the staff of the mall. Sarah and Sally who are standing at the Service Counter and Phone store are both there. As is Merrick, the book seller just near by you. There a few more people you don't recognise yet, but may well be around the mall. The one that stands out is a security guard, and he is interesting. He is standing right next to Blitzen, and his hand seems to be going into Blitzen's side as though Blitzen isn't even there.
Merrick takes a look at the photo on the back of the camera, and immediately recognises it from a staff function a few days ago. The Santa's grotto had just been setup for the upcoming Christmas festivities. If asked, he would have told you October was too soon for such things to be set up, but management like convincing people to start buying gifts as early as possible. Especially a full month and a half before the sales start. But as he scans the photo, he stalls as he sees Marcus the security guard. That's when he stammers.

"Where on earth? How on earth? How did you get this?"

Charlie briefly explains that the photo was still on the camera from the grotto. And then asks about who Marcus is and how his arm is in the reindeer.

Merrick, turning slightly pale, as first seems resistant to answer, but still looks at the camera saying "Yeah, that is Marcus alright".

Marcus was a security guard here. He died last year in an accident. He died on the roof of this very building. There are rumours he was murdered, but well, the official report is he fell. The roof of the building is in two layers. There's a lower area that covers most of the building, and an upper area with a helicopter landing pad. The poor guy appears to have tripped and fallen from the upper level.

Charlie replies with one word: "Rumours?"

Merrick expands slightly with "Well, we all heard the security recordings. Marcus was on the roof reporting back that the helicopter area was clear. It's not obvious if he was just doing regular checks, or looking for something specific while he was up there. The story we heard was that it was part of his routine to make sure no debris was left on the landing area. Safety protocol or sommat like that. He died shortly after giving an 'All Clear'" but there were no witnesses. No cameras up on the roof that I know of."

Merrick looks bemused: "Meteor showers happen in the upper atmosphere. They look like the sky is full of moving stars. They've never hit the ground anywhere that I know of. Also, the grotto is a management thing. They want Christmas dollars early I guess. I guess you shouldn't show the girls at the counters around here, I suppose. I can't recall if they knew him or not. Staff are a bit transient around here ya know"

Merrick: Oh that is funny, no, we have never had a problem with rocks reaching ground level before. Marcus was likely clearing up after a helicopter departure or, perhaps one was arriving soon. In truth I have no idea what he was doing. He was up there regularly, as he was everywhere in this store, walking around with a flashlight checking things out. You saw his replacement drag that thug who did over the pinball machine with the frying pan earlier. I mean, attacking a pinball machine! Hope that pratt got asked to pay for the damage. Anyway, the meteors should put on a nice display, but I'd be amazed if any actually landed. It would certainly make international news of us all if that actually happened.

You collect a pamphlet on how to create a pentagram. It suggests if you have five objects that are identical, arranged in a pentagonal shape - and connected by red lines - you will form a powerful anti-ghost anti-demon tool.

You take:
- One pamphlet from a stack of pamphlets on how to make pentagrams. Free
- The Blueprints for a horrible circular looking bedroom. Free
- The Wanted poster.

You do not have enough funds to buy all of the following together, so you will need to decide which you want more, or find more cash.
- Application Form for V.C.S, whoever and whatever they are. Five bucks
- An empty wine bottle in the shape of Mother Mary. Five Bucks.
- A magnifying glass. Five bucks.

Merrick replies:
Sure we probably have books on werewolves, but can't honestly say I've ever seen a real werewolf around here. There's a full moon in 5 days time, specifically known as the Hunter's moon. Maybe that could help you.

Lets see: Ah, yes, I seem to have a book called "How to deal with Werewolves". 100 dollars. Appears to be autographed by one Michael J Fox. I could give it to you for 80 dollars if you want.

The book is shrinkwrapped. The blurb says that this book contains "Nearly everything you need to know about dealing with werewolves".

Merrick:
No, but they sell Ambrosia at the cafe. Is that worthy of a slice of free pizza? No olives though. Can't stand the mucky little buggers.

Merrick's quick demeanour change suggests that you are not going to be opening a shrink-wrapped book that you haven't paid for. His eyes glance at the Bank, implying maybe you need to get some cash out from there first.

Merrick: Its shut at the moment. You might need to try find another way in. Perhaps if you look at the floor map of the mall carefully, you might get some ideas.
