You stand in the phone booth. Disappointingly it seems smaller on the inside, that it appears on the outside.

There is a quarter in the coin slot.

Both people are just sitting there. Waiting perhaps?

All the vehicles are facing the lines, so the toyota is facing north.

[ambic]

The ticket machine produces a ticket you can put in your windscreen to say you have paid. A ticket comes out when you press the button and pay 5 dollars.

The cop car is missing one, as is the Jaguar and the Hearse. All the others are ok.

[ambic]

They are both visible.

[ambic]

The jaguar is extremely clean, and it has no Smoking signs on the dashboard. It must be a rental car, and thats why it has no ticket. There must be somewhere in the mall you can hire it.

The hearse is unlocked and has a wallet in it.

The cop car is locked.

You find the ID of Officer Spiro, a cop, 100 dollars.

The truck driver eyes you suspiciously, and then shrugs. "I dont care if you want to help, but I aint paying"

[ambic]

You unload a box of gas masks, a single crow bar and thats it. The truck driver returns to his truck, and starts eating a burger he had on the seat next to him.

[ambic]

Either works. The gas masks and the crowbar are your reward, if you steal them

The window winds down. The guy in the car asks "Are you Michigan? I thought it was a womans name, but you know, im not sure. You have a crystal for sale for me?"

[ambic]

He takes the quarter and ducks into the phone booth, laughing to himself about the free quarter. He does have a cellphone. He pretends to make the call, while pocketing the money.

[ambic]

Nothing seems out of place, or worthy of stealing.

He sees you from the phone booth and starts swearing loudly. His car keys ARE in the car.

With the help of the crowbar, you get the manhole open. There is a ladder leading down.

[ambic]

Tunnel is long and dark. You might need a light of some kind

It leads elsewhere. Same problem

The trucker seems more interested in his lunch

The jag is locked.

[ambic]

Unlocked: Hearse, Mini, Electric Bike, Yamaha.
Suzuki has an aerial and some Justin Bieber track is playing in the car. It sounds terrible but it could be wo.... oh it just started on an Ed Sheeran track. You unlucky person.

The keys are left in the ignition. What fool drove this?

It has headlights, if that helps

The tunnel is lit up.

You can hear noises. You think you are under the gym. You cannot hear people talking, just exercising.

[ambic]

You can hear nothing. You are under Antiques and Apothecary.
You hear water. The bathrooms. Also nothing.
You hear nothing. The Bank.
You hear talking. It sounds like Victorias voice. THe Fashion store, perhaps.
You continue until you come to a pipe at the end, running upward into a store. You could try to open it and climb up it, but it feels full of water.

THere is a valve

She was calling someone to talk them. Sounds like she was leaving a message
THe valvu is closed already, so you open it. You hear water draining away, until it stops.

You climb up the pipe

You arrive out of a drained pool in the Spa shop (Left of the cleaning supplies). There is a pile of clothes next to Lyle Armouth, who is taking a spa, and there is a second set of clothes next to the unoccupied immediately north of him.

You see an alley way. Seems to run along the length of the northermost wall.

[ambic]

The alley leads past a bunch of shops, none of which you can get it. First stop: Treasure Hunting SUpplies. You can see Benson standing in there. The windows are too small to climb through and dont open

You pass B&E Mens. B&E are in there. No one else, unless they are in the changing rooms

[ambic]

You pass the Cafe. Kane is in there, talking to a chef. There are french doors here, but they are locked.

[ambic]

You pass the magic store. There is a magician in here practising his tricks. From this angle you can see how he does them. That tricksy bastard.

[ambic]

You pass the fashion store. Matthew is in there, as is Sarah. They are standing around

[ambic]

Thats as far as you can go

You double check. She isnt there. How curiously weird

[ambic]

Fashion store, there are changing rooms. Maybe mirrors in there
Magic store, you see none
Cafe, you see none
B&E. Same as Fashion Store.
Treasure Hunting, you can see none

You are in spa store.

[ambic]

Lyle looks slightly annoyed to be interrupted but turns to talk to you. "Nope, I'm just a customer. See those clothes on the ground near me, do me a favour and give them back to the crazy chick who dived in earlier. I'm sick of seeing them."

As he turns, you notice he has a tattoo of a 'double cross'.

You collect clothing that looks suspiciously like Victorias
The comic book lands with a splash in a display model.

Lyle laughs at you. And says nothing.

[ambic]

THe dark room looks like it would be a great place to hide if ever necessary, but for now with the pool in it lit up, you would still be visible.

[ambic]

Victorias clothing contains nothing

"Michigan? She's here! Sh_t"

Lyle starts to get out of the spa, and get dressed. Luckily for you, he was in togs.

He hits the open button on the door, and leaves the spa hurriedly. He didnt even bother drying himself before he pulled on his clothes

Water, his towel. Nothing useful, though the spa room is now unlocked.

[ambic]

There are mops, some Na2CO3, some bleach, some sponges, and various other pool chemicals I havent researched

[ambic]

Nothing of interest at the desk. It almost seems like the reason to be here walked out on the mention of a certain name.

[ambic]

You exit, cover, enter the south manhole. It goes above an area of traintracks with some kind of secret room. You cant access it but you do hear
"Password"
"Never Fold Two and Seven"
"Enter"
being spoken.

They all look pretty clear, apart from the cop car which has stuff in the front of the car. It's locked up tight. The maserati appears to have an alarm. The Jeep seems to have a spare tire that could be prised off for some reason.

You are holding a tire. It seems rubbery

[ambic]

As your inventory is full, you put the tire down till you decide what you want to keep

[ambic]

The hearse is unlocked and has a wallet in it.

Just to be clear, the wallet and police ID were in the hearse, not the jag.

The tire looks like it might float on water. Or sink. One of those

Drivers license, yes. Looks like Spiro.

As you move car to car, using your crowbar to jimmy open petrol caps, you arrive at the police car, and do the same. You hear a voice in the background yelling you to drop to your knees. As as you are read your rights, at gunpoint, a female officer loads you into the back of the cop car and leaves you there.

She walks away, with you locked in the car. She is talking into her mobile, and walks almost out of sight.


You can see on the front seat some kind of Dossier and a police radio, but you cannot reach it from the back as there is a metal grill in the way.

You hide in the coffin, with the dossier for reading (Just gotta check your inventory count first before I continue)

The lid must be ever so slightly ajar, to avoid suffocation. Can't have corpses dying on you.

[ambic]

They all seem normal

[ambic]

The sky is dark and foreboding. You see nothing of real interest. If there ever was a UFO here, its not here now.

"Yes I would pay good money for an unshaken Red and Blue Crystal. I'll give you a 100 dollars right off, if you have one"

“Alright alright, the crystals are of alien origin. They can be programmed to teleport people, but where we don’t know. I dont even know what distance they teleport people. Maybe people travel a few meters, maybe a few hundred, or maybe to Andromeda. They are slightly visible in the dark, and very visible under UV light. I want one so I can study one”

"Nope. Never seen an alien. Heard a rumour there was a UFO out here in the carpark the other day, but security took it into storage to keep the space clear for customers. Find that, and you might find a crystal. Find that and I will pay 200 dollars"
