Where does this keep coming from that I was in any way interested in saving zulfy? I wanted zulfy to willingly walk towards the light so I could save pablito. Zulfy was never anything but explicitly anti-me this game, and personally unpleasant at times to boot.

Matt, your options are to trust me, or try to fight me. If you trust me we can both try to expand away from each other. You have a fleet and not an army so you're already handicapped in a hypothetical fight against me. I'm not interested in having that fight. If you're willing to trust me, simply do not attack Kiel this turn. You wouldn't be able to take it even if you did, but you would disrupt my support for midget to move out of Sweden.

Aronis, why are we at odds? I've been cheering on your coup since before it was a coup and I want to help you keep it going if I can. For starters, if nya builds a fleet in Gre, you should try to bounce it in the spring to keep it from moving next to Naples (and in doing so disrupt any plans to convoy Turkish armies around the Med). Rome will be yours by the end of the year.

You can't be eliminated this round but you're very unlikely to hang on to two centers. You can however try to force Dan's elimination if you're feeling vindictive. Support the fleet in Naples into Rome while ceding Naples to PrivateI and Tunis is Nya. Mario will have to move to Ven this turn to guarantee his own survival so Dan wouldn't have a center to flee to.

Midget... I hope you're paying attention to these people already planning a war on Scandinavia. I'll support your defense where I can if it comes to it, but the best defense is a good offense. You need to leave your neutrality behind and take the fight to them. Talk to MattP and get on the same page. You'll need to hold in Den to claim the center, but your fleet in Nor should get active in the struggle for the north sea.

DeathNote... I'd rather be your friend than your enemy, but if you fight Midget I'll be your enemy. If you move towards France instead, I may soon be in position to support you taking a coastal supply center. Keep an eye on my harrying army and if you see an opportunity just ask.

Midget you can actually support Matt's move from both Nor and Den. So long as the fleet in Den is still there at the end of the turn it doesn't matter what action it took. Two supports will guarantee Matt gets into NTH. STD (originally Brest but lately Belgium) just asked for replacement so that unit and territory will be in civil disorder. And it's more than just Portugal + GB, ani is making overtures on behalf of the entire MedAgree. They're not here yet but those fleets from Turkey are going to keep pushing west and they'll turn the corner around Spain eventually. The best bet to stop them cold is for you and Matt to occupy Britain before they can get more than just the Portuguese fleet in place. I'll do my best to keep them busy fighting in France for the time being too.

I agree that it's suicidal but I think it's happening, and if you don't attack Ven then Dan can move there unopposed and you won't have anywhere to retreat to (regardless of his claim that he'll support or invade Naples). He knows there's a very real possibility of his elimination this round even as his attacker Aronis faces mounting pressure from the east, the most likely scenario right now is that he's trying to talk you out of moving to Ven so the way is open for him. It's the same trick Nyalite pulled on Aronis, lulling him into a false sense of security then moving into the Ionian. If he takes Ven and Bella dislodges you, you are S.O.L.

Really you should be trying to renegotiate a deal with Bella and talk her out of her alliance with Radja and Turkey, because as long as that holds your lifespan is going to be short even if it ends up costing Bella the game too.

Playing to win and having other people's best interests in mind are not mutually exclusive. Building an army in Greece threatens Mario and Bella. Bella DID turn on Mario, but he's flexible enough to go back to working with her and that's great because they still need each other. I've still never tried to cross into Austria (as I promised them) and I still won't. I understand that I've been everyone's favorite boogeyman all game but I'm sure you know I couldn't even threaten Austria if I wanted to right now, I'll be focused once again on my own survival. The only person all game who shouldn't have trusted me when I made a deal was still Diamond. I gave N fair warning, and I've faithfully helped Midget expand. I tried to keep TBO alive but he failed to submit an action when he could have moved home to Den and failed to take either open supply the next turn when it became clear retaking Den would fail. It remains especially important that we deny him these kinds of moves in any fall phase because an extra fleet against us even if it is only for the next two turns would put us at a severe disadvantage.

You'll need defensive support in the fall if you keep your fleet in Rome, or you'll need offensive support if you keep your fleet in Tyrr, probably into Mar in the fall. Well, the only way I see out of my situation this round with DN supporting ani against me is if I got equal or greater support against him. Matt's fleet could attack Kie to disrupt the support from DN there. Tbh I think ani is not going to be on your side for long, this round/year might be the last chance to keep him in check. Since DN's fleets can't support Mun's defense it only takes support from one unit to get me in there and ani dislodged.

I understand your position, but I definitely get eliminated (and probably Matt does too) this year by ani + DN without you or Bella supporting me, and then you're at the whim of whether ani really flips on you or not. What remains of mist and the demise of the remote controlled fleet formerly known as Lokiben are pretty solid indicators that he'll play for himself before he plays for the MedAgree.

This thing is on the fast track towards a Nya/Shadow/Bella vs DN/Breeze/ani endgame showdown. I can't say y'all don't stand a chance, but if all of Germany and the Low Countries goes to the latter trio you're going to be the ones on the defensive. If you help me get into Mun and stay there I'll loyally support your side's moves around me into neighboring territory and act as a buffer in the center of the map that blocks threatening units from encroaching on Austria and Italy. And as I said earlier I'll stay in my homeland until the end of days when you can basically decide if you want to include me in a draw or eliminate me.
