Thanks for asking.
Cool beans. ani, I'm building a fleet that I'm going to take either North or South. If we both leave each other be, neither of us should have to worry about fighting a war on two fronts for a good chunk of time.
... I'll admit that this feels out of left field from you (given that I have all the close land), but this makes sense.

Well, I guess my trust was misplaced, then. Looks like I'm being tagteamed by Tunis and Spain. I can defend my on SC for now, since that's all I really need, but does STD, D3f, or Mist think they can send some support my way next year? After all, it's their alliance ani is ditching too. This plea also extends to GB, since I'm all that stands between them and the Mediterranean powerhouse in the water.
I'm not going to take you out by any means. I've stopped them attacking you entirely!

This. Plus I'm moving in the other direction - so attacking Portugal in the spring will be met with heavy resistance elsewhere.
Also, let me make this straight - once this Russia vs. Germany war is over, if you keep acting like head honcho of half the countries already, you (and potentially all of Italy) will be next.

Harsh but true - you're painting a huge target on yourself (and likewise the rest of the Mediterranean group) by trying to force things.

A) No, not taking Portugal
B) No, not taking you out
C) I've already addressed my issues with MedAgree, but am not leaving.

I'm pretty sure its been known for a long ass time I'm terrible with my words - hence my title. I've explained everything I meant to say since, and I'm sorry, Loki.

Eyyyy
So long as Spain and Tunis are okay with it I'm all for it.
Works for me!

Honestly, I don't even know anymore. I feel kind of locked in - given how Cybele replaced out, I may just see if I can take that location, if you don't mind.

I'm just... you're literally never going to keep everyone happy. That is not how Diplomacy works. Especially not this version where the only way to make gains is at the expense of another player.
Are you still a part of the MedAgree?
I'm well aware - I've played Diplomacy before - I don't see the need to start a war quite yet, however. Plus I'm not sold on being not totally blitzkriegd from Spain if I start something vs. Northern Alliance
And yes I am, but after the shenanigans of last phase, I doubt I'm very high up the totem pole xD

This is also worth noting - but if Northern Alliance wants Cybele's space for themselves instead (which may prove handy vs. potentially upcoming NA vs. Scandanavia if this continues), I am fine with a country trade instead of having to walk all the way up.

I can never ask this of another player. I am considering doing it this turn for myself but it is too much of a risk to ask another player to give up their starting territory.
I totally understand! I'm not going to force the issue - that said, if a player values Cybele's space over their own at the moment, I'm willing to give them the opportunity to trade up, granted that I can get to the country in a reasonable time frame.

@ Western MedAgree:
I am claiming Cybele's spot as mine. If you take Spain while I am out, the rest of the MedAgree will undoutedly target you (and potentially other would as well) for being untrustworthy. Therefore, I would recommend not taking Spain or interfering with me.
@Northern Alliance:
I expect I'll need some support in entering Cybele's location, as I expect the default no-submission is to hold - given how I'm not attacking you, could I get a promise for support from someone who would be nearby?

Thats a pretty big bargaining chip.
If it helps you at all, I'd be willing to help you all out once I get to Belgium - granted it'd take me a bit, but its worth noting.

Loving that you are willing to help but you do have allies with the medagree. Just curious as to how or relationship would play out.
I wouldn't expect it to be a problem in the immediate future - the big issue right now is NA vs. Scandanavia, and as far as I'm aware, the part of the MedAgree people have issues with is the Eastern MedAgree moreso than Western.

@Mist:
Attack d3f3nd3r at all costs. If he leaves his base to cut off support, you'll take his center anyways and his move is rendered invalid. If not, I'll guarantee you get it in the next fall.
@Loki:
I need you to force Snakes back - start moving near his center, and consider taking it.

Clearly I made a mistake not having a problem with you taking Brest and trusting you.
Loki
, I have no fight with you. I hope you remember the deal we made and honor it. Plus, you can get a second center this year easily
Dude, I don't care - OGML brought it up then DN went all in. I'm forced to save myself.

Seriously - ISO me. I've been the least bloodthirsty - the least aggressive - the most agreeable - the easiest to get along with - of virtually anyone in the MedAgree + DN. ISO everyone else in the conflict, and you'll see where I've been forced into here.

ATTN: SNAKES.
I believe in fair war - so this is (what will probably become) your final warning if you do not listen to this. As has been stated by Lokiben, he is going North with intent to screw up the NA - the easiest way to do that is to take your supply center, and as no one else in the UK can stop him without losing their own, it falls to you if you want to continue or not. You are NOT the intended victim right now, and I'd like to keep casualties to a minimum right now.
