There is a simple way to do this, and it doesn't even require people to give up much of their choice.

Just select one of the three locations, and have all Good players agree to not go to that location.

Therefor, the identity of the good ghost vs. the bad ghost will 100% certainly be revealed (because the bad ghost is unlikely to match the good ghost's pick every time), and because none of the choices are public, it means that the bad ghost can't try to disguse himself by matching Good Ghost.

So let's say starting this round if we can manage it, or next round if we can't,

limit hiding places to only the first two Chevre lists in his post

So this time it would be both the "behind" places.

Isn't that exactly what Charles for trying to have us do yesterday?

I still don't believe that's the spirit of the game and i will continue hiding wherever I choose.
It will probably lead myself to my death, but that's what i get.

This game is about narrowing down information to ensure we play to our win condition.

That's the only spirit in it. Don't take a moral high ground here, it doesn't suit you.

Well it doesn't matter, the Bad Ghost wants to kill people who hide outside of our plan anyway. Every person who does that is one extra round the Bad Ghost has to avoid potentially revealing himself.

So it's bad, and I'd prefer everyone sticks to the plan, but Bad Ghost will almost certainly kill anyone who deviates because it aids their wincon, so, we don't need to deal with dissenters for long?

I'd like to point out that while that guy was very condescending, you and Cheery lording yourselves over us as superior because you're "not breaking the game", like you have some fucking moral superiority complex is really jerkish too.

Doesn't really lend you a whole lot of sympathy.

I attempted to organize the players to help my (and potentially others) win conditons.

You'll note that my objections to Cheery's posts was not that he had the agency to make his own moves (which he does and always will) but rather the moral superior tone in which he (and you) have both made yourselves to be these martyrs of what "games should really be about".

So I remain unclear at what your objection is. Is it that I called you out for being holier than thou and treating other people like crap? Is it that I play games differently than you and somehow that makes me a bad person? Is it that you have a need to feel superior to someone else and I've denied you it here?

Anyway, this game has now stopped being fun. If the Ghost could consent to kill me, or if I can die by like, non submission next round or something, that'd be swell.

I can understand the frustration, and the post made by Charles was unnecessary and uncool, but in the future, if your expectations differ from how something is occuring, it would be better to express it in a manner that doesn't demean others expectations as lesser, especially in a moral manner.

Like I could give a damn if you told me "I find it more fun to do X" because that's like, that's whatever.

But to more or less go out and martyr yourself because you find the manner certain people play the game to be against some kind of unwritten rule that not everyone shares, implies some nasty things.
