The stock ended with 1,000 shares. It started with 1,500 shares. So ten or fifteen thousand dollars? Assuming you sue for that amount, you'll also have to pay $100 in court fees.

$15k it is!

I'll foot the court fees as long as the others involved are willing to help with the lawyer.

I'll look around the immediate area, any trucks that happen to be nearby or whatever, for useful supplies. Ideally, I'd like to find a source of fire, something that could be used as rope, and something long and strong enough to poke stuff with, basically some kind of poor man's 10 foot pole like a crowbar or something.

After that I'll head into the pyramid.
