1.
Each player starts with 1000 coins.2.
Each round, each player secretly spends a number of coins.3.
The player who spends the lowest number of coins in a given round is eliminated.4.
The player who spends the second-lowest number of coins in a given round receives those coins back.5.
In case of a tie for the lowest number, the tied players play an extra round, while the lowest non-tied player receives their coins back.6.
In case of a tie for the second-lowest number, the tied players split the refunded coins, discarding any remainder (ie a tie between two players will see each receive half their coins back, etc).7.
When there are only two players left, 5 creatures will be offered. Whichever players spends the most money on a creature wins it. Whichever player wins the most creatures wins the game!8.
Players will have 48 hours to submit their coins. If a player fails to in the time allotted they will be prodded and given an extra 24 hours. If a player is prodded a second time they are auto-eliminated.For this game there will be a slight twist...
When the number of players is even
A round will be played like normal, lowest player being eliminated while second lowest regaining all coins spent
When the number of players is odd
Players will be split into 2 groups, the rich and the poor. The round will be played out with each group losing their lowest spender and the second lowest spender regaining their coins.
The player that has the median amount of coins will be the
bourgeoisie
and will be safe that round and not submit any coins.This will continue until only 5 or less players remain. Then it will go back to normal rules.
