I figured you would have known this one after the Robin Hood clue. William Tell is the national hero of Switzerland. You know, the guy with the crossbow who shot an apple off his son's head.

General: Is your invention used by us on an every day base?

Stumper: Are you the person who's ability was stolen by "SaberKitty" in DP6? (no looking in the thread ;))
"OH MY GOD, Cadmium! I can make rye bread! You must be innocent, I'll do whatever you tell me!" exclaims Mackay excitedly. - Jeep, Mini Game 9

That's when I figured it out.

I'm running out of Thomases - Marlo, Danny, Dave, Debi, and Frank.

Stumper: Were you a Native American athlete in the early 20th century who won the Olympic decathlon, and went on to play both professional footbal and baseball?

Jim Thorpe was considered by many to be the best athlete ever. I checked after posting that, and he won both the decathlon and pentathlon at the same Olympiad. One is 10 track and field events; the other is 5 different sports.

I will hold off on my general since MathCam seems to be on track for solving it.

In the meantime - Stumper: Are you a hot South African actress who appeared in
Mighty Joe Young
and
Playboy
?

I was just thinking Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, or Linus Torgvalds. If you were so inclinder you could use your general for one of those.

Oh. I was thinking more like "Are you one of those three?" Then if we get a yes we're essentially done.

Thucydides. Because I am taking World Civ. in school, I'm learning all sorts of greek people whose names start with T. I should be set for the game.

I'll also hold out, seeing as Cam and Quailman seem to have hit the nail on the head (or something)

Editted because his name is not Quilaman

Yes, I am Linus Torvalds... well done, everyone!

And thank God that's over... I don't know if my ego can handle another onslaught of Quailman.

MathCam: Of those three, it had to be Torvalds, because the letter is
T
. Good job, Cam!

Oh. Duh. I forgot the letter of the answer had to be the same as the letter of all the stuff we were guessing. Double duh.
