Yeah, I meant Deep Blue. I just played F-zero an hour ago, so that could explain the mistake.

Are you known for being a religious leader, even as an extremist one?

Harvey Keitel played a bad lieutenant in the movie "Bad Lieutenant".

Holding my general for now.

Personally I think number 1 is the biggest clue so far. At least it eliminates 50% of the population.

I'm struggling to think of famous women from these countries though.

I think instead of focusing on the country, focusing on the occupation would be better. So we single it down to Singapore? So what? We still won't have any idea...

Not entertainment, politics, science, religion, art, writing, or inventing. What does that leave?

Maybe economics? Maybe we should ask if he's known primarily in Academia. Maybe a Nobel prize winner in econ? That
is
CS' major, I think.

I agree that we don't need to narrow it down any more. It was worthwhile eliminating Africa, and about 3 billion Asians. I mostly listed the remaining countries as more thinking out loud.

Oh, and you can cross Sports off your list. BTW, it's a woman, under 50. They don't give important prizes like that to women, do they?

Chad Kroeger

Holding my general until we come up with a plan here.

Looking at those countries, very few seem to be the kind of countries that would give women a decent education, so I'm inclined to agree with Quailman... however the best I can come up with is a member of a Royal family or something... which doesn't seem like the kind of person CS would choose...

I'm completely at a loss here... I've got a General saved, but I have no clue how to use it at the moment. Something's fishy about this...

[Rambling]We haven't eliminated Supermodels yet, but I don't know nationalities other than Imam. There is a famous young woman from Vietnam by the last name of Phuc (full name is 4 parts - Something Something Kim Phuc), who is well known for having been photographed running naked down a road following a bombing raid in the Vietnam conflict. And that would probably qualify as being "primarily known for one achievement." The only Sherpas I can think of are male. Queen Noor is older than 50 (I presume) and I do not know her given last name.[rambling]

I just thought of something... I wonder if you'd be considered to be "primarily known in politics" if you're being held as a political prisoner. I would thing that the question implies are you a politician or statesman. Therefor I will ask this
General: Are you being held (or have youever been held) as a Political Prisoner?

[edited, in case she's only just been released]

I went googling for Quailman's naked runner and found this:
womentodaymagazine.com wrote:Phan Thi Kim Phuc
Born: Trang Bang, South Vietnam, 1963
It is a photograph that few are likely to forget. A little girl, her clothes seared from her body by a Napalm bomb, runs screaming from her burning village. Her arms are outstretched in terror and pain.

Now, she uses her notoriety to speak for peace. In November 1997, Kim was named a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Earlier in 1997, she founded the Kim Foundation in Chicago, to help innocent victims of war.
We may have found our winner!

Her last name starts with "P". And that's one accomplishment. Google "political prisoner" with Myanmar. I'm pretty sure that's our answer.

I assumed that the family name was "Kim" as the website talks about the Kim foundation etc. And she has more than one achievement (read what I posted).

But yup, the political prisoner does look promising too.
