Drafting:

There will be 8 Fantasy Teams per League.

Draft order is randomized. Odd numbered rounds go from first to last, while even numbered rounds go from last to first.

Each team will have a maximum of 8 players. Each team must have at least one of each role (Top Lane, Mid Lane, Marksman, Jungler, Support) by the end of the draft.

Eligible players are any player listed as a starter for any EU or NA LCS team.

The draft will take place after all Week 2 matches of the Split have been played. The season runs through the end of the Split.

The Season, "Free Agents," and Trading:

If a player is removed from the LCS (for example, dropped by his team), that player will remain in his current position in the Fantasy roster.

Trades and add/drops can be made on days of the week that no matches are scheduled. The minimum number of each position (1 top lane, 1 mid lane, 1 marksman, 1 jungler, 1 support) must be retained at all times.

One may drop a player from the lineup and add a free agent no more than 5 times over the course of the season.

Before the beginning of each week’s matches, each player will submit 1 mid lane, 1 top lane, 1 marksman, 1 jungler, and 1 support from their team to the Fantasy LCS account. If no submission is received, the player will be assumed to be using the same team as last week. If someone from the previous week has been traded away or dropped, then a member of that Fantasy Team that fills the missing position will be randomly selected to fill the empty slot.

When you want to add/drop a player, send the add/drop request to the Fantasy LCS account. The account will only be checked at a specified time the day prior to the first matches of the week. If multiple players attempt to add the same player from the free agent pool, then the player who is lowest ranked will actually add/drop the players.

You may discuss trades at any time, but finalized trades must be bolded in the thread and posted by both players involved.

Each week, you will be matched up with another fantasy team. The team with the highest number of points after all LCS matches are played will be the winner. (Yes, this does favor LCS teams who play more games in a weekend.) You will play against each other team once during weeks 3-9. Weeks 10 and 11 will be the Semifinals and Finals, respectively. The top 4 teams (by win/loss record) from each league will qualify for the playoffs.

Hi!

I should be available after 5 Eastern on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week if we can organize a live draft. (Monday - Wednesday are the only days we have for drafting.)

Yay!

Why are supports only given 1 point for a kill? right now they're not worth anything. I feel like since they don't have a point income for CS, they should be given 3 points for every kill they participate in.

Also, what about Targons? Those CS are recorded to the Support, but given also to the ADC gold wise. How are we handling that?

We expect 3 points for assists to make up for the lack of CS gold. The testing we did of the system actually makes me think that a good support (i.e., very involved, not a lot of deaths) is not unlikely to be your most valuable player.

The only time that looks like it would work for a live draft is to begin at 9:30 PM Eastern on Monday. Is that ok with everyone?

9:30 pm EST is yucky for me, but I can manage that, I suppose.

Also, you tend to get a LOT of assists if you're playing right, even if you get stupid amounts of kills you get a bunch of assists.

Fairly yucky.

I guess I'll deal.

No time limit on picks for me or pick a different time.

The other option is that we just start on Monday morning by posting in-thread. I'll keep a table in the OP as up-to-date as possible, and everyone just has to promise to check as often as humanly possible until we're done.

I'm not really sure how to handle that, tbh. If we do the Monday evening option, then there has to be a time limit of some variety. If we do the multi-day option, we can't really put one on.

Blarg.

Ok, here's another thought - is anyone opposed to starting the draft before next monday (i.e., during Week 2 matches?) Because I think if we do something like "Start Friday, finish before Wed. at 10 PM" that I can safely say "if you don't pick within 12 hours of the previous pick, you lose your pick for that round" and assume that people will do their best to check more often than that so we can actually finish it.

I'd rather do it that way than have people complain because I can't meet a time limit that I cannot meet on Monday night.

So looking at the options, I could make all of them work but I think the latest proposed one is the best so far

I mean, we know the draft order. It shouldn't be too hard to check when you know you're coming up soon.

Also greyice gets 2 picks in a row every time.
