The All Values Multiplier is very powerful, but the Bonus Multiplier is even more powerful, because it's unlimited. The All Values Multiplier can only go up to 30, and considering we're trying to reach $1 Billion, it can be a lot quicker than you think. That is if you avoid those Devils, and some of those Special Squares that can take away your Multipliers.

With all that said, let's reveal #14!

Uh-oh! Unlucky, Mist7676. You've just found the first Devil. Now, the Devil could hide something "Extra" with him, giving you more punishment. Is there anything behind that Devil?

DEVIL'S EXTRA:
NONE

Well, it's at least there's nothing behind him, but nevertheless, you have found one of the Devils, which means you are out of the Showdown.

Also, this is going to hurt. Remember about the All Values Multiplier? It can be both a Blessing
AND
a Curse! First of all, Mist7676, for finding the first Devil, you have lost $100,000. The All Values Multiplier WILL have an effect on this as well. Since your AV Multiplier is 2, you now have lost
$200,000
.

And anytime a player finds a Devil, their All Values Multiplier AND their Bonus Multiplier will reset to
0
.

Plus, to all players who have Items in Possession, if you want to use one of the Items, make sure that you say that in your next post before picking another number off of the board.

swyellowtail, over to you.

No. It just means that
she
doesn't have the chance to continue through this round.

Hmm... it's a 1-3 in 10 chance that I'll hit a devil. The initial damage isn't as bad now, but it can still hurt, especially since I'm in second right now.

So, I'll simply add up those numbers... and run into a box that's already opened.

Anyway, I think I have a few planned out that are safe, but at the same time, I may screw myself over with the killers.

JerryArr, you found an Item called "Power Shot". Now, should you use this Item before making your next pick, you will pick a number from the board. After you pick a square; the number you picked will also take the numbers next to it. For example, if you picked the number 8, you would also take numbers 3, 7, 9, and 13, because those are 4 numbers surrounding 8 on the board. It could be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on when you want to use it.

So to be clear, we take turns in playing the showdown and race to get a billion first? And even if we lose the showdown we'll still be able to win the game? What can we get from winning the showdown?

sorry about the pronoun thingy.

Basically, here's the "simplification."

Each Showdown, there are Devils on the board, placed by the player. Unless special rules come into effect, once you lose your ninth match, taking one loss away per win, you are eliminated. Winning a showdown gets you some money to put in your Bank, on the route to $1,000,000,000. Also if you win a showdown, you can choose to bail out with a percentage of the money in your Bank.

Oh dear, you have the found the Killer! Now, this could either make you or break you.

Image

I have these 4 buttons here.

One will block the Killer. Find that, and you are safe and we continue on.

One will "Kill" someone else. In other words, you have the ability to eliminate an opponent from this showdown, and that opponent CANNOT play for 5 more Showdowns after this one. On top of that, in which I forgot to put this on the opening page, that opponent will lose
$250,000.

One will "Kill" yourself. That means that you are out of the Showdown, you will also lose
$250,000,
and you cannot participate for 5 more Showdowns after this one.

And one will put you into a "Threshold Situation". I'll tell about that when we get there.

For now, choose one, swyellowtail.

Now then. This could determine who is going to suffer the consequences, and who's going to win this round.

Also, the KILLER is known to be evil for a reason. Another piece of information that I forgot to mention. In addition to being "Killed", you loss counter will be augmented to TWO, meaning you are 1 loss away from getting a Strike. If there's ANY good news, if you already have two losses, and you are then "Killed" by the Killer, the loss count will remain at 2, and will not go 1 loss further.

We're about to find out what's going to happen. Push the button.

(swyellowtail pushes Button 3)

KILL SOMEONE ELSE

Oh! It's to Kill someone else! swyellowtail, normally you would have to make a decision, but since JerryArr is the one other person standing, it's obvious who's going to suffer.

JerryArr, you have been...

Image

We shall. In fact, there are so many Bonus Games on the opening page, but there are some exclusive Bonus Games that I haven't listed, and you and the other winners of their Showdowns will see some of them.

And this is one of them.

Image

It's Lucky Number, to where you can win a bunch of prizes with that one lucky number, and they are all right over there!

Announcer:
In Row 2, we have these prizes....

Image Image Image

a Blu-Ray player, an Air Hockey Table, and an iPad!

(applause)

First, this Blu-Ray player is miles ahead of its time with its DVD compatibility, and makes a perfect addition to any home theater. Includes two stereo speakers and wireless remote.

Second, play a fun, exciting match on this innovative air hockey table. Includes a countdown timer and electronic scoring.

Third, this Apple iPad mini lets you surf the Internet on the go in a smaller, more convenient package, and allows you to customize it with thousands of apps available at the App Store.

But wait, we got more! In Row 3, these prizes are in store...

Image Image Image

a Pool Table, a Trip to Paris, and a Dining Room Set!

(applause)

First, Brunswick presents this 7-foot Glenwood pool table. Comes with shield pockets, stain-resistant cloth, and a classic chestnut finish!

Second, you and a guest will fly round-trip coach from Los Angeles to Paris, France, for a six-night stay in a superior room at Hotel Lumen Paris Louvre, just steps from the Louvre and Tuileries Gardens! Plus, you and your guest will enjoy a private tour of the Louvre Museum, and dinner at Le Meurice, one of Paris's greatest restaurants!

Image

And brush up on your French before you go with the complete set of Rosetta Stone French language learning software!

Third, from Design Within Reach, this dining room set, complete with two chairs, has a fresh morning feel to it. Also, we have included a toaster, butter dish and sugar dish all from Williams-Sonoma.

But hold on! We have saved the best for last....

Image

That's right, it's a Brand New Jeep!

(wild cheers and applause)

It's the 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport! Hit the road, or don't, in this classic two-door, which comes with standard equipment plus slush mats, engine block heater, and 5-speed automatic transmission. The Jeep Wrangler!

That's right! You can win ALL of these prizes with just ONE Lucky Number, hence the name. Of course, you do have to be lucky to get there, and here's how we play...

ROW 1: [EGG SUBSTITUTE] [PLASTIC WRAP] [SPONGES]
PRICE: [$?.79] [$?.29][$?.48]

The first row here have 3 Grocery Items, and notice that each of these items, as well as the small prizes all have the first digit missing. I'll tell you more about that in a minute, but first, let's have a closer look at these items.

Image

Announcer:
First, a 32-ounce carton of all-natural egg substitute...

Image

Second, a 70-square foot roll of Glad Press 'n Seal plastic wrap, the wrap that allows you to form tight seals around different foods, for ten times the regular seal of plastic wrap. Don't get mad, get Glad!

Image

And third, a six-pack of Scotch Brite non-scratch scrub sponges! Clean out tough messes from pots and pans without worrying of scratching their surfaces, and the sponge cleans all dishes with ease!

Now, first of all swyellowtail, pick one of the grocery items, and I'll show you the first digit of that item, which will also be your Lucky Number for this Bonus Game.

I shall pick the
plastic wrap
.

Also, side note: I'd be flying from Germany to LA back to France just to go on a trip. That's a lot more flying than necessary.

The plastic wrap is what you chose. Also, I didn't know you were in Germany. Much like the same way, I'm actually in Miami, Florida, not in LA, California.

Now what's the price of the Plastic Wrap?

ROW 1: [EGG SUBSTITUTE] [PLASTIC WRAP] [SPONGES]
PRICE: [$?.79] [$7.29][$?.48]

$7.29. Reveal the other prices.

ROW 1: [EGG SUBSTITUTE] [PLASTIC WRAP] [SPONGES]
PRICE: [$3.79] [$7.29][$4.48]

$3.79 for the Egg Substitute, and $4.48 for the Sponges. So what the means is
7
is your Lucky Number. Hopefully 7 really is indeed a Lucky Number in both superstition and in this game.

Now, let me explain how this part works. We're going into Row #2....

ROW 2: [IPAD MINI] [AIR HOCKEY TABLE] [BLU-RAY]
PRICE: [$?40] [$?99] [$?66]

to where we have the iPad Mini, the Air Hockey Table and the Blu-Ray player. Notice that each of these prizes have the first digit missing. Now, this is a Progressive Game, which means in order to win the car, you have to win all of these other prizes first.

I can tell you that your Lucky Number, which is 7, matches one of these 3 prizes. If you can find the prize that has the number 7 as the first digit, you will win all 3 Prizes in Row #2, and you get to proceed to Row #3.

Be careful, though. If you pick the prize that doesn't have the 7 as the first digit, the Bonus Game is over.

So, pick a prize that you think has the number 7 as the first digit.

Hmm... frankly, I think the only thing that best fits the $7XX price is the hockey table. Having an iPad Mini cost $740 sounds WAY too pricey. The blu-ray player? Maybe, but that might be $466 instead.

Let's go with the
Air Hockey Table
.

Let's see if your logic works out. What's the price of the Air Hockey Table?

ROW 2: [IPAD MINI] [AIR HOCKEY TABLE] [BLU-RAY]
PRICE: [$?40] [$799] [$?66]

Image

Yes! It's $799! Well played.

ROW 2: [IPAD MINI] [AIR HOCKEY TABLE] [BLU-RAY]
PRICE: [$440] [$799] [$366]

The iPad Mini is $440, and the Blu-Ray Player is $366. So, you got those prizes, but we can add more. Let's go to Row #3.

ROW 3: [DINING ROOM] [POOL TABLE] [PARIS]
PRICE: [$?756] [$?648] [$?033]

The Dining Room Set, the Pool Table, and the trip to Paris. Once again, the first digit is missing for each of these 3 prizes. And once again, you have to find the prize that has the number 7 as the first digit of that prize. If you get this right, we're going to the Jeep. However, get this wrong, and the road to the Jeep ends here.

Hmm... I was 1/3 right on row 2. Whoops. Row 3 is probably where I stop, but...

The dining room might be $7756, but that sounds a bit too pricey. The pool table is NOT $7648, there's no way a pool table is that expensive, even if it was fancy. A trip to Paris? Probably a lot more than $7033 with the double trip, but who knows.

If I was to guess, I'd say
the trip to Paris
is the one that costs $7033. The dining room probably costs $4746 and the pool table costs $3648. If I'm wrong, than it's likely I have the room and the trip backwards... which honestly makes little sense.

It could go either way, so let's see what happens. What is the price of the Paris trip?

ROW 3: [DINING ROOM] [POOL TABLE] [PARIS]
PRICE: [$?756] [$?648] [$7033]

Image

Well done, it's $7,033 for the trip to Paris!

ROW 3: [DINING ROOM] [POOL TABLE] [PARIS]
PRICE: [$4756] [$3648] [$7033]

The Dining Room Set is $4,756, and the Pool Table is $3,648. Now, we proceed to the Jeep!

CAR: [JEEP PATRIOT]
PRICE: [$2???5]

Now this time, the first digit and the last digit of the Jeep are shown, but the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th digits are missing! Your Lucky Number, which is 7, belongs to either the 2nd digit, 3rd digit, or the 4th digit in the price of the Jeep.

Before we go on any further swyellowtail, you actually have a decision to make.

So far, you've won the Blu-Ray Player, the Air Hockey Table, the iPad Mini, the Dining Room Set, the Pool Table, and the trip to Paris, all totalling $17,042 in prizes.

You can take those prizes and quit right now, because if you go for the Jeep and pick the digit that doesn't have the 7, you will lose ALL of those prizes.

However, if you feel lucky, you can go for the Jeep, and if you find the 7 in either the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th digit correctly, not only you'll win the Jeep, but you'll win all of the other prizes as well.

So swyellowtail, what are you going to do? Keep the prizes and quit, or go for the Jeep?
