The Newlywed Game - Game 2 Begins!

Welcome, fellow Mashers of the Mish! The Newlywed Game is an dating game show that pits newly married couples against each other in a series of revealing question rounds to determine how well the spouses know or do not know each other, so let's get started!

To join the queue, simply /in in-thread with your choice of spouse! If you don't specify a spouse, you will be placed in the queue with whoever else is single, but couples in the queue will play in order of when the earliest member of the marriage signed up!

Game Mechanics:

{01}

Three couples will play each game. One player in each pair must identify himself/herself as the dominant figure in the relationship, while the other player will be the submissive.

{02}

Each game consists of three rounds. In Round 1, the dominant players will all be asked three questions privately. Then, the submissive players must guess in-thread the answers their partners gave, and for every answer the submissive player guesses correctly, the couple gets 5 points. The opposite happens in round 2, with the dominant players guessing the submissive players' answers for 10 points each.

For Round 3, all players will submit a sentence describing their love for their partner. These sentences may not contain anything to indicate any identities. 8 sentences will then be shown in-thread, with 2 of them being decoys, and all players then must guess privately as to which sentence was submitted by their partner. If a player is correct, his/her couple gains 15 points.

Private communication about the game between any players partaking in an ongoing game is strictly prohibited.

{05}

All submissions will have a deadline of

48 hours.

Prods will be issued if no submission is given within 24 hours.
