In this game, you will be divided into two teams of seven players each. The game will consist of 30 rounds. During each round, each team will select one person (smuggler) to attempt to smuggle some money out, and one person (customs officer) to attempt to block the opposing smuggler. In the end, the team that manages to smuggle out the most money wins.
- Private communication is allowed at all times, with one exception. A smuggler and an opposing customs officer may only communicate with each other, until the round is over.
- puzzledan and Mist7676 are the team leaders and will pick the teams (see below).
- At the start of each round, the team leaders will announce the smuggler of their team, for that round. Following this, they will also announce the customs officer of their team, for that round. It is also allowed that these announcements are made in advance, to expedite matters.
- Once the smugglers and customs officers are announced, the smugglers will have 24 hours to send me a PM with the amount they intend to smuggle that round. Similarly, the customs officers will have 24 hours to send me a PM with the amount they intend to seize. These amounts must both be between $0 and $100,000, inclusive.
- If the customs officer attempts to seize at most the amount the smuggler is attempting to smuggle, he successfully seizes that amount. The difference is successfully smuggled.
- The team which manages to smuggle the most money after 30 rounds wins.
- At the end of the game, any money that has not been smuggled will be divided to the other side.
- The losing team will afterwards play a downsizing game. The loser of this game will be eliminated from the tournament.
- Each player will have two accounts for this game. These are the "inside account", which will come under the control of the other team at the end of the game, and the "outside account", which is under your own control.
- The inside accounts start with $300,000 each. The outside accounts start with $100,000 each. At the end of the game, each player will pay back the sum of $300,000, from their outside account.
- The outside account can go negative (in debt).
- Money is smuggled from the inside account to the outside account. No other transfers between accounts are possible.
- Money successfully smuggled or seized will be transferred to the appropriate outside account.
- Penalties for customs officers will be paid from the outside account of the customs officer to the outside account of the smuggler.
- Money left in inside accounts after 30 rounds will be divided between the players of the opposite team.
- The final amount in each player's outside account will be added to their tournament account and thus be added to their score.

We will now begin the process for picking teams. puzzledan is the leader of the West Erehwon team and Mist7676 is the leader of the East Erehwon team. To start, Mist7676 will pick another player, to join her team. Afterwards, puzzledan will pick a player to join his team. Subsequently, the person most recently added to each side will be the one to select the next player to join their team. (So, for example, if Mist7676 picks goodmorning, goodmorning will be the next person to choose who will join the East Erehwon team.) This process will continue, until we have two teams of 7 players.
Mist7676 can go ahead and make her choice.
