Season 2, Round 4After three rounds, the remaining houseguests were in a very strange dynamic.
Arachnae Vriska
was still in charge, with
LOYAL BOT
its faithful servant.
DISCORD BOT
's initial resistance melted somewhat after last round, while
BOTIN8R
was still making plans with
ZingBOT
.
KnightBOT
hadn't really been heard from in a while, but was now and again appearing in support of
BOTIN8R
. With a Final Six that wasn't particularly cohesive, who would be going next?

HoH Competition #4: Endurance (Memory Tiebreak)

This challenge was your typical game of everyone being placed on a board together and having to travel on it for as long as they could without crossing anyone's paths.
Arachnae Vriska
tried to shut out
ZingBOT
, who tried to shut out
LOYAL BOT
, who tried to shut out
BOTIN8R
, who tried to shut out
Discord BOT
, who tried to shut out
Arachnae Vriska
. Wait, doesn't that mean everyone left
KnightBOT
all alone to win the challenge easily? Oh well~
As for the nominations, it chose
Discord BOT
and
Arachnae Vriska
. Something about revenge for its ally... With a duo that could never decide whether to be friends or enemies both on the block, this was set to be a rollercoaster of a round.

PoV Competition #4: Logic (Luck Tiebreak)

This challenge was a giant jigsaw puzzle. Each bot got an identical puzzle, and the first one to put theirs together won.
Arachnae Vriska
and
LOYAL BOT
were neck and neck at the start, but then
Discord BOT
and
ZingBOT
pulled ahead! The four battled it out for a while, but in the end it was
Discord BOT
that was able to complete its puzzle first and win the Power of Veto! Unsurprisingly it chose to veto itself, which meant it fell to
KnightBOT
to select a replacement nominee. After thinking for a while, it selected
ZingBOT
for eviction, and made it the target as well. Something about jealousy (
BOTIN8R
was still unhappy over Round 1 and was kind of ignoring
KnightBOT
as a result). With whispers floating around the house regarding what to actually do, and a backroom talk between
ZingBOT
and
Discord BOT
, it was time to find out who would be leaving the Big Brother house.

Eviction Ceremony #4

One by one,
Discord BOT
,
BOTIN8R
, and
LOYAL BOT
entered the Diary Room to cast their votes for eviction, while
ZingBOT
,
Arachnae Vriska
, and
KnightBOT
watched. Eventually the process was completed and it was announced that, by a vote of 2-1,
ZingBOT
...

Spoiler: Result
was safe, leaving
Arachnae Vriska
to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

It should have represented disdain rather than jealousy, but whatever :P

Also, doesn't XalxeBOT not been able to see the Logic, Speed or Luck stats?

Spoiler: Lord Mhork - Arachnae Vriska
Arachnae Vriska

Stats:
Endurance-130
Skill - 190
Memory - 80
Logic- 120
Speed - 80
Luck- 0

Strategy Defined:

To 8egin, you will first need to find a foe worthy of your attention. Someone weak and pathetic that you can help toughen up to a 8etter level of skill. At the start of the game you will designate the player with the lowest visi8le stat total as your PUPA PAN.

If there is a tie for lowest stat total, pick the player with the lowest Endurance.
If there is a tie for lowest Endurance, pick the player with the lowest Skill.
If there is a tie for lowest skill, pick the player with the lowest Memory.
If there is a tie, congratulations! You managed to find at least two identical bots. 8oth of those 8ots are worthy of your aid, and both will be designated at PUPA PAN. It is soooooooo hard to find good nemeses these days! :::: (

If ever your number of PUPA PANS is less than one, you must find a new one following the same criteria, UNLESS there are 5 or less players remaining in game. If that is the case, you no longer have a PUPA PAN. It's heart8reaking, 8ut for the 8est.

In addition you need to find a SCOURGE SISTER. If you do not win the first Head of Household Competition, that winner will 8e designated as your SCOURGE SISTER until after the first Eviction Ceremony. If you win the first Head of Household, you will have no SCOURGE SISTER until after the first Eviction Ceremony. This overrides the point system.

While you are alive, the current SCOURGE SISTER will be designated as the 8ot who currently has the most points against you as determined 8y the following.
Vote to Evict you: 8 points
Not Voting your Eviction Target: 5 points
Vetoing one of your Nominations: 2 points
Voting Differently from you in an Eviction: 1 point

If there is a tie, choose the player whose total stats is closest to yours. If there is a tie, see 8elow
Choose the player who has won more competitions. If there is a tie, see 8elow
Choose the players whose Endurance is closest to yours. If there is a tie, see 8elow
Repeat the a8ove for Skill, then Memory if there is a tie.
If there is another tie, you have no SCOURGE SISTER. Check again after the next competition.

Head of Household-
8ehold! You have planned to 8ecome the Head of Household and thus far have done so admira8ly. Ideally from here on out you will win ALL the competitions, but gr8 things like that tend to be haaaaaaaard.

If you have exactly one PUPA PAN, nominate him or her. If you have exactly two PUPA PANs, nominate the 8oth of them. If you still have a nomination remaining, proceed. If you have more than two PUPA PANs, act as though you have none for the Nomination.

Nomination Protocol:
-Nominate the 8ot with the highest stat in the next Head of Household competition. If there is a tie, proceed 8elow
-Nominate the 8ot with the highest stat that will 8e used as a tie8reaker in the next Head of Household competition. if there is a tie, proceed 8elow
-Nominate the 8ot with the highest stat that will not 8e used to determine the next Head of Household. If there is a tie, proceed 8elow.
-Nominate the 8ot who has been nominated the most times this game. If there is a tie, proceed 8elow.
-Nominate the 8ot who has nominated you the most times. If there is a tie, proceed 8elow.
-Nominate the 8ot who has voted along your SCOURGE SISTER the most. If there is a tie or you do not have a SCOURGE SISTER, see 8elow
-Nominate the 8ot who has voted most for your PUPA PAN. If there is a tie or you have no PUPA PAN, see 8elow.
-Nominate your SCOURGE SISTER. If you don't have a SCOURGE SISTER, see 8elow
-Randomly choose from the remaining 8ots.

Veto:
If one of your targets in Vetoed, repeat the nomination process to find a replacement 8ot.

Eviction Target:
If there is a 8ot on the 8lock that is not a PUPA PAN, make that 8ot the eviction target. If there are no PUPA PANs or two PUPA PANs, vote according to the following protocol.

Select the 8ot with the highest com8ined availa8le stat total. If there is a tie, see 8elow
Select the 8ot with the highest stat critical to the next Head of Household competition. If there is a tie, see 8elow
Select the 8ot with the highest stat critical to the Head of Household competition after next. If there is a tie, see 8elow
Select the 8ot with the highest stat critical to the Head of Household competition after the next two. If there is a tie, see 8elow.
Select the 8ot that has been vetoed the most by your SCOURGE SISTER. If there is a tie, see 8elow.
Select the 8ot that has voted with your SCOURGE SISTER in more instances. If there is a tie, see 8elow.
Select the 8ot that has won the most total competitions. If there is a tie, see 8elow.
Select an eviction target at random.

Veto Decision:
At laaaaaaaast you have won the power of veto. Time to consider whether you should take advantage of this gr8 opportunity or whether it is in your 8est interests to let the current status quo stay. Use the following protocol to decide:

If you are on the 8lock, veto yourself. This overrides all other protocols.
If it the final four, do not use the power of veto.
If any of the players on the block are your PUPA PAN, veto that player.
If the a8ove three do not lead to a decision, check if your SCOURGE SISTER is on the 8lock. If so, do not use veto. If not, see 8elow.
If there is a player who is not on the 8lock, and is not you, yet has received more votes in a single TC than either of the the 8ots, veto the 8ot which has received more total votes. If not, see 8elow.
If there is a player who is not on the 8lock that has won more Veto Competitions than either of the 8ots on the 8lock, and isn't you, veto the 8ot which has received more total votes. If not, see 8elow.
If there is a player who is not on the 8lock that has won more HoH Competitions than either of the 8ots on the 8lock, veto the 8ot which has received more total votes. If not, see 8elow.
Do not use the Power of Veto.

Voting Protocol:
It is now time for the vote. Ideally you had some hand in determined who is available to vote, so now it is time to make you move.

If either 8ot is your eviction target, vote that 8ot. If not, see 8elow.
If either 8ot is your PUPA PAN, vote for the other 8ot. If neither or 8oth is, see 8elow.
If either 8ot is your SCOURGE SISTER, vote for that 8ot. If not, see 8elow.
If either 8ot has won more com8ined HoH and PoV competitions than you have, vote that 8ot. If not or in the event of a tie, see 8elow.
Vote for the 8ot who has voted most frequently for you PUPA PAN. If there is a tie, see 8elow.
Vote for the 8ot who has most frequently vetoed your SCOURGE SISTER and not voted for that 8ot when they had the chance.
Vote for the 8ot with the highest com8ined stat total. If there is a tie, see 8elow.
Vote for the 8ot with the highest Endurace, Skill, or Memory, using the next stat if the previous was a tie. If that results in another tie, see 8elow.
Vote for the current Eviction Target.

Jury Protocol
[REDACTED]

Five bots remain. Who will be evicted next? Find out next time~

(And that's probably the least of the problems there - I had the spot reserved, but Xalxe vanished before I was able to get corrections. Since he went first anyway, I kind of just left it)

Assignments happened, then I got lazy and unmotivated. I'll see what I can do; if I can't pick myself back up I may just hand off my documents for someone else to take over. I don't really want to see this die completely >_<

Season 2, Round 5The fallout from the departure of the house's dominating force left all the remaining bots in a bit of a tizzy, not quite sure how the game would change in its absence.
ZingBOT
and
KnightBOT
seemed to be getting leery of one another.
Discord BOT
, feeling satisfied with the levels of discord, irritated some of the others with its smugness;
LOYAL BOT
wandered about in a haze with no clear bot to be loyal to, and
BOTIN8R
simply faded into the background. How would this change things?

HoH Competition #5: Skill (Endurance Tiebreak)

This challenge was one many long time viewers might find familiar. The bots had to use precision aiming to toss rings onto a large board filled with pegs, with each peg on the 7x7 board worth between 1 and 49 points. Each round, the bot managing the lowest number of points would be knocked out until only one remained.
BOTIN8R
was out of this one in a hurry, throwing its first ring as hard as it could into the wall on the left side of the enclosure for a score of zero. In round 2,
Discord BOT
's score of 16 was okay, but not good enough. The final round was a close one.
ZingBOT
set the bar high with a very solid score of 41, but this score had been beaten in past rounds.
LOYAL BOT
gave its ring a good toss at the close up 45 pole... but just failed to finesse it properly and fell onto the 8 next door, leaving
ZingBOT
to claim the title of HOH.
After some deliberation,
ZingBOT
nominated
LOYAL BOT
alongside, not surprisingly,
KnightBOT
. It was certain to let
LOYAL BOT
know that it was only being used as a pawn, and wasn't shy about letting everyone overhear.

PoV Competition #5: Speed (Logic Tiebreak)

This challenge was a fairly standard, gym-class style obstacle course featuring plenty of jumping, ducking, and weaving about cones and hurdles. The bot finishing in the shortest time would win the coveted Power of Veto.
BOTIN8R
entered the yard to do its run looking peppy, while its competitors seemed tired. Perhaps they were saving their energy?
KnightBOT
was up first, and sluggishly battered its way through the course like an inexorable tide of molasses, breaking several of the obstacles in lieu of dodging them, requiring production to bring in some replacements.
BOTIN8R
came up next, and waltzed through the course as though it had been practicing since the day it was built. After witnessing a disastrous run from
LOYAL BOT
, the final two left to go simply threw up their hands and forfeited.
BOTIN8R
had won the Veto by a landslide. At the meeting, it declared that it did not wish to use the Power of Veto.

Eviction Ceremony #5

Quickly,
BOTIN8R
and
Discord BOT
entered the Diary Room to cast their votes for eviction, while
ZingBOT
,
LOYAL BOT
, and
KnightBOT
watched. With much smiling and nodding before the reveal, it was announced that, by a vote of 2-0, ...

Spoiler: Result
KnightBOT
had been evicted.

Spoiler: DiplomatDC - KnightBOT
(Component I) Name: KnightBot

(Component II) Stats:
Endurance: 250
Skill: 250
Memory: 100
Logic/Speed/Luck: 0

(Component III) Strategy:

<Soul Searching>

Used in first round ONLY

If HoH, nominate the 2 bots with the two lowest combined Endurance+Skill+Memory stats. Lowest of those stats for renominations too

PoV: Veto self if possible
Else, don't bother

Eviction target will be the lowest combined Endurance+Skill+Memory stats
Vote the bot with the lowest combined Endurance+Skill+Memory stats

Ties broken by lowest Endurance stat then RNG

Thereafter, choose a player as an ally and follow <Loyalist> strategy

Who to choose as an ally? Firstly, in the last voting phase:

If Knightbot was nominated, eliminate all players who voted for you as an ally choice
If Knightbot was not nominated, eliminate all players who voted opposite as you as an ally choice

From the eligible targets, choose the eligible bot with the highest combined Endurance+Skill+Memory stats. If tied, choose the HoH as the ally, if he is eligible. If the HoH is not eligible, choose a random eligible player as an ally.

<Loyalist>
If HoH, nominate between bots who have:
a) Nominated the current ally or Knightbot before
b) Vetoed another player if the current ally or Knightbot is up for elimination, unless Knightbot AND the ally has been nominated
If more than 2 fit this criteria, nominate between them 2 bots with the two lowest combined Endurance+Skill+Memory stats
1 or less? Nominate as necessary bots with the lowest combined Endurance+Skill+Memory stats

If ally is picked by this process (which it shouldn't anyway), do not nominate him and pick other choices. Renominations also lowest of the above stats

PoV: Veto self if possible
If self isn't nominated, veto ally if possible
Else, don't bother

Eviction target will be the lowest combined Endurance+Skill+Memory stats
Vote the bot with the lowest combined Endurance+Skill+Memory stats, unless ally has been nominated, in which case just vote the other bloke.

Ally has been voted out? Aw damn.

Is this the Final 4 and beyond?
If yes: Enter <Lone Ranger>
If no: Search for another ally and use this criteria:
Eliminate all bots who have voted for you, or vetoed the other player when you were nominated, barring the case where said other player is your ally
Eliminate all bots who have voted your ally (unless doing so means voting for you) or vetoed the other player when he was nominated, barring the case where said other player is you, but ONLY FOR THE DURATION OF THE TIME HE HAS BEEN YOUR ALLY

Anyone left?
No? <Lone Ranger>
Yes? Pick the new ally out of the eligible players with the highest Endurance+Skill+Memory stats

<Lone Ranger>
Well.

HoH (And Final HoH): Nominate players with the highest combined Endurance+Skill+Memory stats. Ties resolved by highest Memory stat, then Endurance, then RNG Same with renominations

PoV: Veto self if possible
Else, don't bother

Eviction target/Vote: Highest Endurance+Skill+Memory. Ties resolved by highest Memory stat, then Endurance, then RNG
Jury Vote:

I'm probably going to stick with the one-installment-per-night model.

Also, I have the Season 3 bots that have been submitted; we need a couple more to fill it up!

Season 2, Round 6With the game getting down to the final four, alliances start to break down a bit as all the bots know they are largely playing for themselves and need to begin thinking about who they can beat at the end. Not to mention, many of them won't matter with one bot likely holding all the power this round...

HoH Competition #6: Memory (Skill Tiebreak)

This challenge was a simple game, and yet not so simple. Contestants were shown a series of differently colored and shaped blocks, then had to reconstruct the same pattern in the right order using representative blocks they were assigned. Things started out relatively simple, but
BOTIN8R
apparently couldn't remember a sequence of three blocks. We're a bit concerned there may be something wrong with its circuits. The other contestants looked very evenly matched for quite some time after that-- they are robots, after all, and memory is not that hard a problem-- but on the 13-block round,
LOYAL BOT
's vision was obscured by an odd shadow for a moment, resulting in its elimination. Finally, quite some time later,
ZingBOT
made a sequencing error;
Discord BOT
was going to the final 3! To celebrate, it continued playing with the sequence-giving machine and blocks for hours after the challenge ended. But with no control over who joined it, how would it fare? Knowing that final 4 nominations are a formality, it nominated
BOTIN8R
and
LOYAL BOT
.

PoV Competition #6: Luck (Speed Tiebreak)

Knowing that the final 4 veto challenge is one of the two most important challenges in the entire game, the producer bots thought up a very crafty and interesting task for our finalists. Certainly they did not wish for anything anticlimactic to occur that might not test the skills of our bots to the breaking point and truly determine which was most deserving of progressing and making a potentially game-defining decision. So, of course, they put four slips of paper into a hat. It would be extremely testing to see which bot would most easily be able to use its refined senses to determine what was written on each paper and carefully analyze it while still leaving the papers in the hat. Oh, shoot, did someone forget to equip the heat sensing super-olfactory neuron compensizers? Oh, whoops.
LOYAL BOT
was randomly selected to go first by random draw, and stepped up to make its random draw. Producing a paper, it declared, "This piece of paper is blank."
Discord BOT
was up next. Reaching into the hat, it pushed the papers around a bit before choosing one. Its piece of paper, for some reason, contained a careful sketch of a bowl of fruit. Next was
BOTIN8R
. It quickly withdrew a slip of paper, walked over to the veto necklace and put it on before bothering to look at the note, which it confidently revealed to everyone but itself before walking back into the house. Sure enough, the paper said "veto" in handwriting that would put a doctor to shame.
BOTIN8R
had won!

Eviction Ceremony #6

The other bots re-entered the house to find
BOTIN8R
already giving a speech to empty seats about why it was using the veto on itself. It finished, then continued standing as
Discord BOT
was forced to name
ZingBOT
as the replacement nominee. The Head of Household made it known with a few hand motions that it would like to see
ZingBOT
leave.
ZingBOT
and
LOYAL BOT
had eyes only for the lone voter now.

BOTIN8R
made its decision, and...slowly unveiled that...
Spoiler: it had decided to evict...
LOYAL BOT
.
