May 27th, 2012. A day that will be remembered forever in history. The day that a small contingent of terrorists assassinated the president, with "minimal" casualties. According to the official post action reports, all 12 bombers were found dead at the scene, with a majority displaying multiple lacerations. No statement was put out by any intelligence agencies, in spite of their highly publicized campaign to unearth and infiltrate terrorist groups.
September 5th, 2012. The newly acceded president announces a tougher crackdown on anarchist terrorist groups, along with massive tax increases to augment spending in intelligence. This controversial move was criticized as "knee-jerk" and "cowardly" by his critics- of whom there are many. In spite of this, the "economic reassignment", as he called it, is successfully implemented.
January 11th, 2013. A second attack is attempted on the facility, but to the surprise of all parties involved, the entire squad sent out to ensure the detonation of the bomb vanishes into thin air. Higher-ups in the terror group responsible go into hiding out of sheer embarrassment. Intelligence agencies everywhere celebrate their somewhat bizarre victory.
They thought that was it. They thought that they had won.
They were wrong.
January 11th, 2014. The bombs have been planted. The security staff have been dealt with. The president will be arriving in 3 hours... and you've just received a call from base.
There are traitors in your midsts.
Sitewide rules apply, including the mafia specific rules.

I reserve the right to change the rules at any time for any reason. If I do this, the rule changes will be posted in thread. If you fail to make an action for an entire turn, you will be replaced. Prods will be issued. V/LAs will be taken into consideration, but have to be run past me personally.
The 12 players of this game are 12 Terrorists. Of those, a number of you are traitors. These traitors know who each other are, and have special equipment and communication methods. The remainder of the Terrorists are innocent. The goal for both factions is to eliminate the other. Of the innocents, one of the members is called the detective. He is confirmed to be innocent, and has special equipment. Each player has 3 hitpoints, and a pistol, that deals 1 point of damage.
Play takes place in a 3 by 3 grid. These will be referred to by a number designation equivalent to that of a keyboard numberpad (ie room 7 in the top left, room 3 in the bottom right, room 5 in the centre. In each of these rooms are doors leading to each orthogonally connected room- so, room 4 has doors to rooms 7, 5 and 1.
Each turn, you have to make a decision as to what to do. To make your action, simply PM me your action and its target. You may:
MOVE to another room- This will move you to another room, and you will see what happens in both the room you go to and the room you came from.
SHOOT another terrorist- This will deal 1 point of damage, but make sure you're shooting a traitor...
SEARCH the bodies in a room- If there are bodies in the room, this will identify what team the bodies were on, as well as telling you whose bodies they are. Also, deaths will not be reported until their body is searched to confirm their death.
YELL a message- This will put a message out for everyone to see, rather than just the people in your room.
WAIT for a while- This will let you see what happens, but basically does nothing else.
To help you make your decision as to what to do, each room will have a quicktopic for you to talk to each other in. You will be allowed to post freely in these QTs up until the end of the turn, at which point you must switch to the new quicktopic for your new room. You may not make any conditional actions. You may switch your action as much as you like up until the deadline- the deadline for each move is precisely 4 days from when I say go. The game ends when either all of the innocents are dead or all of the traitors are dead. Best of luck, and happy hunting!
