. Below is the short version.

1. Each player will start with a hand of 8 cards.
   
2. On your turn, pick one card you wish to keep, then pass the rest of your hand to the next player. Passing happens simultaneously.
   
3. Reveal the card you've kept.
   
4. Repeat until all cards have been played.
   
5. Score the hand
   
6. After 3 hands, determine the winner!

Scoring

Maki Rolls

: The player with the most

Maki Rolls

scores 6 points. The player with the second most scores 3 points. Ties are split.

Tempura

: A set of 2

Tempura

scores 5 points. 1

Tempura

card scores nothing.

Sashimi

: A set of 3

Sashimi

scores 10 points. 1 or 2

Sashimi

cards scores nothing.

Dumplings

: Each

Dumplings

card increases your score along the following scale {1 3 6 10 15}

Nigiri

: Each

Squid Nigiri

is worth 3 points. Each

Salmon Nigiri

is worth 2 points. Each

Egg Nigiri

is worth 1 point.

Wasabi

: Each

Wasabi

triples the

Nigiri

played on top of it. On its own, a

Wasabi

is worth nothing.

Chopsticks

: Worth no points.

Puddings

: At the end of the game, the player with the most

Puddings

scores 6 points. The player with the least

loses 6 points. Ties are split.

Forum-Specific Rules

• Each round will have a deadline of 24 hours to send me your card choice (Saturday and Sunday combined will be counted as 24 hours)
  
• The first two times you miss a deadline, you will be prodded and given a strike. If you do not submit 24 hours after the prod, you will play randomly.
  
• The third time you miss a deadline, you will be replaced.
  
• If you are using

Unless Cybele's passed a good Nigiri to him, I doubt it'll work out as successfully for him as he hopes.

I'll just point out that were the hands to be scored right now, we would have

Sashimi and Wasabi are worth no points on their own. Cybele and SC would both have 0 points.

However, 3 points are split between the player(s) with the second most amount of Maki Rolls, and that's me, Cybele, and SC, no?

Word of advice: there are quite a few maki floating around from what I've seen. It may be unavoidable that you'll have stiff competition.
