This thread is for the purpose of advertising upcoming Mish Mash games. It is a queue for players or moderators. If you're new to the Mish Mash forum, or viewing this for the first time, please read these rules, and post here if your question is not answered.

In Mish Mash, most games take signups in their own threads. Signing up is often a matter of posting "/in" or something similar, but read the moderator's first post—sometimes additional information is required. Occasionally, PMing the moderator or filling out an application is required. There are no prerequisites for modding a Mish Mash game—you are free to start any game you want. However, it is recommended that you make a post here with some basic information about your game, whether you'll be accepting pre-/ins (and how many), and a link to the thread when it is ready to run. This makes it easier for players to find your game. Be aware that abandoning games, unnecessarily changing rules, or acting unfairly/capriciously towards players may result in you being required to seek a ruleset review or find an experienced co-mod before starting future games.

Important things to note:

1. All large-scale games must have either an experienced co-moderator or a review from an experienced moderator. What constitutes a large-scale game is subject to my judgement, but generally games in the style of Big Brother, Survivor, another reality show or a game which requires significant player commitment will receive this designation. For further questions, contact me.
   
2. Each game is permitted to have one thread in the main Mish Mash forum. Additional threads may be created in the Frogstar World B subforum and linked to via the main thread. It is recommended that additional threads be tagged in brackets.
   
3. Moderators of Mish Mash games may request the ability to create Private Topics for their games. PM me with your request, which should include what the topics will be used for and why you would like to use them over other methods.

If a player has posted something against the forum rules, use the report button in the top right corner of their post. This is the fastest way to get it dealt with. In any other situation, try to resolve the issue through the game's moderator first, and PM me if you are still not satisfied. If you are modding a game and get an issue you feel you can't or don't know how to resolve, feel free to PM me about it and I will do whatever I can to help. If asked to do so, I will keep you anonymous.

If you are playing a game and the mod has flaked, PM any listed backup mods and me and I'll arrange for the backup mod to take over the thread. (If need be, I'll try to find a replacement mod.) Threads which have not been posted in for three months or more will be moved to the Sens-O-Tape Archive. If you think there's a good reason for a thread not to be moved, or to be moved back, PM me about it.

dunno when it would start or how long it would last but it would start and finish the same day. more info will be let out whenever I finish writing stuff.

nothing too big or too fancy is planned yet, just simple, quick survivor stuffs.


oya ideally it'd have 12 people, but I could modify to make it 10.


questions asked:

1. Is there a theme?-not yet, but maybe.
2. Is this Anon?-happening in marathon day section whenever its up.
3. If not Anon, will you kick out some players.-everyone can join. just vote people out you may or may not like.
4. For money?-if i ever ran a money game id make it real life more than likely. unless I had won the mole game I just finished playing it. then i couldve cycled that money into other games.

Survivor: Names Are Hard is for 24 players by the way. An infinite amount of pre-ins are available, but that doesn't mean you'll actually get in or anything, it just gives us more time to make you a terrible avatar and to get an idea of how many people want to play. So they're basically not pre-ins at all!

tentative marathon day survivor 19th at 4pm mountain time.

subject to change on a whim.

if its on the 20th itd probably start like 7ish mountain time.
if its on the 21st itd probably start like 4pm mountain time.

if I had to put a timeline on game length i'd say around 5 hours. could be shorter/longer depending on how long challenges take.

im probably only running this if there are 12. and if I run one on the 19th, there's a slim chance I could do one on the 21st as well... maybe a different game??? dunno.

Hey guys, I think it's safe to say at this point that Hunger Games Survivor will either be cancelled or delayed indefinitely. The game is not currently in development so other games are free to run ahead of us.

The game has been deleted from the upcoming games list. If and when you feel you're ready to run it, then reannounce the game.

OK SO official plan is to open signups for marathon survivor at 3:45 PM MOUNTAIN TIME ON THE 19TH.

if we get 12 people before 4:15 game will run.

The Survivor games are now listed in planned chronological order with undecided being last. I think that's going to help our Survivor fans here.

The game is now halfway filled! Let's shoot for double that: Double halfway!

Additional notes: if you want to spectate, send in an application, just make sure you put that you'd like to spectate somewhere in it. Also, the game should be taking off in under a month.
