Did you get it correct, and more importantly, did the Chaser?

Here's the next question. (The Chaser did not answer in time but picked up his prod, so he gets a strike.)

In post 34, RichardGHP wrote:Sorry, but as I explained in NZWOF, it was my cake day the other day and I made myself take the day off from just about everything I should have been doing.
Can I ask, what is the point of a prod if you just lose the turn anyway?
I prod you after 24 and the deadline is 48... it's just a reminder.
Sorry about that... I checked for V/LA but didn't check for NZWOF.- diginova

Hah, I wish... could be nice if I got atinybit more luck, though. Y'know. Just a bit. Or maybe a question I actually knew. To be fair there have been a couple of questions Ireallyought to have known, but then overthought and screwed them up anyway.Fickle, cold and harsh or caring and warm

I am sorry, but you have been caught. Amanda was Spock's human mother, and Sarek was his Vulcan father.
You are unable to bring your £300 through to the Final Chase, and sadly we have to say goodbye to you for this episode.
Chaser, any final remarks?- Espeonage

BEH. BEH I SAY.
1. The name was definitely Scandinavian, I probably ought to have gone Swedish but the Dutch do goddamneverythingso I ran with that.
2. The other two names didn't sound white enough for 1939.
3. I see Shiraz wine every goddamn week, I've even read the description a few times, Ireallyought to have remembered that but I overthought it and didn't listen to my gut 'cause I'm an idiot.
4. Probably the most total-guess of them all, but I still overthought it way too much. (Plus I should have known the Greek word anyway, but that's another story)
5. Willow trees are HUGE but whatever ;_;
6. Well it obviously wasn't C, and I didn't think Spock would have a parent with a name as normal as Amanda. So oh well, gg, it was a good try I thought, also apparently the Chaser in this isn't going to be any less brutal than on the real show. I guess I'm impressed with that? I dunno SEE YOU NEXT GAMEFickle, cold and harsh or caring and warm

McMenno, it's now your turn to step up to the Cash Builder. As before, each correct answer is worth £1000, and you have (expired on 2015-03-26 01:11:30) remaining to give me your ten answers.

Were you confident in your answers? Let's see how you did.[/font]
And now it's time to bring back the Chaser and see what he thinks about your performance.
You're currently three steps ahead of the Chaser and four from home.
The Don, your offers please.- RichardGHP

Well, McMenno, I face something of a dilemma. On the one hand, four thousand pounds is about the least you can get without me totally castigating you. On the other, you clearly don't know your cuisine or music, two things which I hold dear. Plus, hedging your bets on "Roosevelt" without giving a first name might get past the adjudicators, but it doesn't fly with me.
If you want to chicken out as I suspect you might, I'll offer you£1,000.
But if you want to see what genius looks like up close,£24,000says you can't beat me. - RichardGHP
