Welcome to The Winner Is, the game show that will offer you a chance to win up to

Image

ONE MILLION DOLLARS IN FRESH CASH!

This singing show, wait, this game is
NOT
a singing game!

This is the remake, I mean my version of the hit singing TV series "
The Winner Is
"
But with a twist, because, just as I described on the subject, this game will be a
trivia game
instead!

Rules

How to join:

Yes, this game has a queue, so you can apply at anytime. 8 first players in the queue will be participating an episode.
You can /in in this thread and/or PM me to apply!

Round format:
We will jump to the grand finale, where 8 qualified, or in this case, applied, contestants compete for $1 Million.
The game will be in a tournament knockout match with 3 rounds.
Round 1:
8 contestants are randomly divided into 4 matches, with only one of each will advance to Round 2
Round 2:
Just like Round 1, 4 contestants that advanced from round 1 are, again, randomly divided into 2 matches, and the winner from each match will compete in the final
Final Round:
The remaining two compete each other for a chance to win the top prize!

Game Rules:

Round 1:
After match dividing, the player who win the draw backstages from each match, will get to choose one of the 8 categories from the mystery reveal, first come first serve. Then both player from the same match recieves 10 questions, all matches at once, and 24 hours to answer using PM. That means the players wouldn't know each other's answers. After all players gave answers, 4 scoreboards would appear, each for the corresponding match, revealing the percentage ratio, out of 100%, between each player's correct answers in each match PLUS 1% for faster player to PM the answer, this makes the full score of 101%, but it is not revealed yet that who got the most score, how many exact correct answers each player got right and what the answers are.
Like this:
{Two players, Player 1 & Player 2, in Mish Mash category. Someone got 7 correct, the other got 5 correct, but faster = 7:5 = 58.33&(Rounded to
58
):41.66%(Rounded to 42) + 1% faster bonus [equals
43
]}
This is what would show.
Match 1 : Player 1 VS Player 2 Category: Mish Mash

Player 1VSPlayer 2
58:43
OR
43:58

That means in case of a tie, the player who answers faster would win, because of 1% advantage.
Then the host will bring up an offer, worth an amount of cash, to all contestants. Everyone have until next 24 hours to decide if they think they're going to lose, they can take the offer and leave the game, sending the opponent, in their match, to the next round, regardless of the scores. They can accept the offer by posting
ACCEPT
in the thread, only you or your opponent in your match can accept the offer, not both.
However, both players in a match can choose to decline the offer, by staying still, then the game continues, reveals the final score, followed by the correct answers. The winner will advance to next round, while the other goes home with nothing.
Round 2:
Play runs just like Round 1, but this time, not only 10 questions from the Mystery Reveal, but I will add 2 more random questions to the game, equals 12 questions.
Final Round:
Still the same format, but with some changes. Questions are now 15, including 5 random questions. And because The Winner of this final round WILL be the player who got the most correct answers ONLY, this round, both players have their own chance to accept the offer, this time by sending PM, which means they BOTH can accept the offer. If the player who took the offer got the most score, then no one will win the grand prize and an extra $1 million will be added for the next episode. But if they both decline, then the game continues and reveal the Grand Prize winner!

Leaderboard Scoring

All questions in the game has its
money value
. Your score comes from: Total money from correct answers + Offer taken or Grand Prize won.
Round 1 questions are worth $250 each, with a total score of $2,500. Offer worth $10,000
Round 2 questions are worth $750 each, with a total score of $9,000. Offer worth $50,000
Final Round questions are worth $1,500 each, with a total score of $22,500. Offer worth $100,000
If Grand Prize is higher than $1,000,000. The final offer will worth $200,000.
BONUS: In the Mystery Reveal, 2 of the 8 categories contain a 2X, others contain X. If any match got the category with a 2X, they will get DOUBLE the money for correct answers! X does nothing.

Question Categories
:
Pot Luck, History, Sport, Odd One Out, Music, General Knowledge, Back to School and Geography.
All questions are open-ended[no multiple choice], except for Odd One Out that has 4 multiple answers!
Edit: Some of the questions may refer to specific countries, apologized for this.

Note:

1. If you don't answer in 24 hours, I'll prod you by PM and in this thread. You have 24 hours to pick up the prod. If you failed to pick up the prod or you got 3 prods will result in
instant elimination
with no winnings and sends the opponent to the next round or, if it's in Final Round, your score will be set to 3 for the opponent.
2. Think before you accept the offer. Because if you've posted accepting the offer,
it cannot be changed!

Queue:
Players from 1 to 8 will join the next game!

2. Jarvis
3. D3f3nd3r

I'm a bit confused by the example, how does getting 7 and 5 questions right out of 10 result in 71.43% and 28.57%?

It's a percentage between both PLAYERS' CORRECT ANSWERS, regardless of the full score.

Another example: No matter what is the full score, if the faster player scores 3 correct and the other got 9 correct.
The ratio would be 3:9 equals a percentage of 25:75, the fastest player which is the lower scorer receives an additional 1%.
Makes the final score of 26:75.

Oh, my mistake again! I've changed the scoring setup. Thanks!
