there are
956
votes here. i'm adding an additional 1 vote to the pool, to be allocated in a way i'll describe shortly, making the total number of votes
957
. that means a game needs...

479 votes to win

i'm going to send everyone a pm once voting begins, and in that pm will be your options. you may give all your votes to one game, all your votes to the other, or split them up in any way you choose. you are voting to
win
. the game with the most votes (i.e., with at least 479 votes), will win UXYS4℞.

once voting begins, i'll also set up a
public poll
. you may vote in that public poll every so often during the voting period (full details when it opens, ok), and any player who doesn't submit a vote will have their votes amalgamated and split according to that public poll. that single vote i added earlier will be distributed in the same way.

after the polling period is done (which will begin at 5pm EDT tomorrow, and last 72 hours since it's a weekend), i'll reveal the votes all dramatic like and we can finally go home

ok ^.^

ironically my super top secret plan ended in total success. I DONT CARE WHO WINS

im just happy that

A) A non-shooter wins
B. A game I play on a regular basis wins
C) A game I, and quite a few of us, really enjoy the challenge of will win (dry dry ruins, i needed a guide, and Luigi's Purple Coin Challenge on Toy Galaxy....UGH. 24 lives and i finally got it....using Luigi was MUCH easier)

So If I didn't waste my otes for a pointless write-in attempt ,I'd have been 8th highest, cool.

(if I didn't waste even more of them on SDing 20 things, I'd been 2nd though), but I didn't want a high credit score this time round.

A) Sure...
B) D:<
C) Both these games I found pretty easy...

I remember that being less a challenge and more beating my head against a wall. The purple coin challenges as a whole were the only things I didn't like about that game, and even then some of them weren't that bad.

Technically I haven't played Paper Mario, but TTYD is so absolutely amazing that I don't really care that a game I haven't specifically played is in the finals. That said though, I'm going to be spending my limited credit pool on Galaxy.

There were definitely levels of that game that were tough, including the Toy Galaxy thing. Paper Mario I'm not sure, I played the sequel on the Wii and it was okay? Parts of it were confusing, especially between the levels.

I don't have a Wii or a WiiU (yet) so I couldn't play Super Mario Galaxy, and my brother's N64 is not at home anymore, so I can't play Paper Mario. (Plus, we don't have either of those games).
Between those 2, I think I'll vote Paper Mario, though I know my vote really doesn't mean anything.

I haven't played Galaxy and am going to vote for it anyway because I understand it's very good and I found Paper Mario to be so straightforward that it bored me to tears. Mostly the combat. I was, admittedly, well above the age of its target audience by the time I got around to playing it, but...still...

Try playing the sequels to Paper Mario. I agree that the first one wasn't all that amazing, but the second one is, and the one for the Wii is good too.

fuck it i'm posting this now

this thread will now be closed for

. please submit your vote to me within the deadline: once i have acknowledged the closing of the vote, i will not accept any further submissions. i have already submitted my vote, to prevent bias, and will not change my vote.

you may change your vote at any time prior to the deadline.

the public poll is located .

if you have any questions, PM me, and please mention that you have a question in the SUBJECT of your PM. that will just make it easier for everyone
