It'll probably go into signups at the beginning of August, but I'd expect it to start at least a week into the month!

Also, is there anyone who wants to create a Clash of the Mash icon like the Team Mafia 2015 Winner icon? About half the height of a scummy, the same width.

Do you really think so? We actually thought 32 players would be tough to find. We'd absolutely love to have more than that, but I'm not sure how we'd be able to accommodate that this late into the design process.

I can almost guarantee it, but leaving people out the first time around is fine.

I can see getting 32 people, but I'm now curious as to why zor's so certain. Don't get me wrong, the more I think of it the more I feel he may be right.

EDIT: Sidenote here, but 5 extra challenges is effectively +10 people due to Newbies and Vets. If you get much more than that, you can throw in a few double elimination rounds.

We have to design two challenges for every round due to the elimination challenge each round. And our general feeling is that more than 32 people all playing in one single game is too much to handle; if the reception for this event is positive, we could definitely see future games initially starting in 2 smaller, separate games that eventually merge together into one game.

Even if there are 32 I think there may be a need for replacements - depending on how frequent the deadlines may be.

Definitely. Particularly with rookies who may not end up enjoying it.

We already have a system in place for replacements because we figured that would be the case

{07} At all times during the game, a form will be available in the OP. This will lead to a jigsaw puzzle that can be attempted as many times as you like, and submitted using the form. The puzzle can be attempted by anyone not currently playing in the game to enter the replacement queue. If at any point during the game, someone receives three activity strikes, the person of matching rookie/veteran status with the fastest time on the jigsaw puzzle will replace into the game in the spot of that player. Eliminated players may enter the replacement queue as well, but will only re-enter the game if no players new to the game are in the replacement queue.
