Sounds right. Looks like I've got priority at 2. For my start of beat I'll retreat 1 space. For my before activating I'll then move 3 spaces to spot 7. I miss. You can advance 1, 2 or 3 and then miss it looks like.

It does let you gain life back, but tectonic is down now which is a pain for me.

your part looks fine but for me.... I'll advance 2 with tectonic, putting me at spot 4, and then advance 1 with haymaker putting me at spot 3, beside you. i hit for 5 damage, and choose not to move you.

How does that look? You won't gain your life until the next ante phase, but I'm not sure I'm playing this character right. I'm pretty sure I should take more risks (though had I done that I would be in a worse spot now?) On the plus side you need to guess what I'm doing this turn instead of the other way around.

i cant speak to how youre doing bc tbh i am constantly trying to figure out what youre options are. at the very least i agree thst you could be in a lot worse shape, so maybe that means youre fine?

I was leery of playing Pendros because of his UA, but it turns out that I like it; it's a bit tricky to keep track of here, but it's simpler than I was thinking (which makes sense as he's a novice flight.) It looks like he'd be one I'd enjoy playing in the future.

ahh! well done making that phase count.
i knew my ou chance to avoid that specific attack would be to sit tight and miss on purpose, but i tried the attack. when you crizma'd i figured you must be going for a more certain attack. oh well, ill take my licks.
