Dash would have beat spellbolt there due to the minumum range. In this case though I did use flare so there's no clash.

I like that the game was much closer than the last one! Now on to the rubber match! Tomorrow (as I need to get some work done tonight for my online classes.)

I will say that Geomantic Shot (Fire ante) is such a good move for Hikaru though. I need to dash it or take 7 damage almost every time. Such a pain!

I still think you would have won anyway. Without Fire I can't kill you, and you still have more options than I do. Volcanic Drive and Caustic Shot in particular I believe cover everything I could possibly do.

I'd try to come up with a different countermeasure for Geomantic Shot, but that could disadvantage me in the future so that's probably not the best idea.

Though I think the biggest problem with that is that if I use that on you while you're out of dash range, then that still leaves me at long range with nothing to do except fall prey to your slightly better range.

So the first game definitely felt like I was out of options due to your speed with Grasp and Palm Strike (and your tokens.) This game felt like I took better advantage of my range options and that made those priorities less of an issue.

Shall we see what we've both learned going into the last game? I think that I made some good guesses this time, but that you were in it the whole time. I think it's going to be a good one!

I did talk to xofelf and she said that for now we don't need to worry about Frogstar World B.
