So yeah, it turns out my first thought would have been the best one, and even better than I thought it would be since I'd be getting my Earth back because I'm an idiot. More proof that all of my best plays are accidental.

I don't know what now. I'd be up for something else, but focusing on you're game against GreyICE is probably a better idea right now.

Flare Shot was definitely one of the moves on my short list, so good work keeping it in mind! I think that I played a more aggressive game this time compared to the first couple, which threw you off a bit this time around near the start. You caught on at the end though. Still, great match and I'd love to play more soon! I do want to get the GreyICE game up and running first and I haven't yet gotten around to looking at the two characters in depth. For now let me know who you're interested in having match up!

Thanks for expressing interest and playing!

Do you mean matchups with the same four, or should I try to find someone else on the wiki or something?

And also, I've been meaning to ask this for a long time now, in the position oHKoo, where would Advancing Palm Strike leave me? It's two different triggers, so I'd think it would put me back where I started, but I think I remember something in one of the Cybele games where something similar happened. With what happened there applied, I think I'd end up at ooKoH, with the two advance 1s becoming an advance 2.

I"m fine with matchups with the same 4 (if you'd like to try the other two that would be fine with me,) or if you wanted to find other characters on the wiki that's fine as well. I own all of War, Devastation and Fate (as well as a number of promos) so I think that it's pretty legitimate to play with those characters like we'd be able to in person. At this point I'm game to try just about anyone out!

For your other question, I'm fairly certain that the two triggers act separately and don't combine to a single advance. I think your initial guess is correct and that you'd just end up back where you started. Because you get to choose the order of start of beat effects (and there might be another one there as well for some kits,) each advance needs to be calculated on it's own. If you want to point out the beat in the game with Cybele I can take a look and see what happened there.

I looked at most of the characters, but I think somewhere along the line I stopped actually thinking whether I'd want to play them. The ones I'm deciding between now though are Shekhtur (mostly for convenience), Lixis, Rukyuk, and Runika.

The only real thought about matchups is not against any of the ones in that list. No matter what though, I think I'd want a day or few to think about it.

And I looked through the previous games and I couldn't find it. Maybe I'm misremembering.

just to jump in on your two triggers, they do resolve separately. It's important to note, however, that any triggers you have that share the same activation time (ie, two 'on hit' triggers) resolve in the order that the player chooses. but no, they dont combine.
