Yeah I didn't think it was legal, and stopped looking when I realised it wasn't going to get any closer.

Although the closest I've managed to get so far on the current one is 66.071 with √(0.5)-0.7+66.
oh wait I'm now at 66.008 with (0.5)^7+66. I'm going to try and work out if I can get it within two decimal places.

you can get arbitrarily close to 66 by taking repeated square roots of 5 and 7 (or of 12 if you prefer)...

but man, trying to get exactly 66 is difficult if not impossible :/

You'd have to do it with both the 5 & the 7 as they need to get down to 1. I forget that the square roots can be used multiple times. So let's do it.
