Assumedly, spread out the visitors as best you can, then start figuring out which people are confirmed visitors and not bad ghosts, sort who hides where by that, etc.

What is this going to get us?

We inevitably get down to just one visitor and two ghosts no matter what we do and neither of the ghosts can possibly be confirmed. All the visitors can do at this point is try not to die. Even if you rule out visitors, it isn't helpful.

No, because anyone in the group that a person gets killed from -cannot- be the good ghost. Therefore, those people are all eliminated from being goodghost. We continue doing this, narrowing down the number of people who are possibly goodghost until the last living visitor can easily choose based on who was not in the group with any of the people who were murdered.

I don't think want to talk about this more because I don't want to tell the bad ghost what to do, but under most circumstances that's all irrelevant.

I can't see a case in which that is bad for "town", IE visitors. I don't like that you're trying to shut down discussion on proper play strategy.

If we wanted to tryhard, we could all claim our hiding places every phase, and eliminate good ghost possibilities that way.

Players 1, 2, & 3 hide in A
Players 4, 5, & 6 hide in B
7 8 9 in C
10 11 12 in D

If 6 dies, neither 4 nor 5 can be the good ghost.

There is a slight problem with this, but without giving ideas out to the bad ghost, eventually this info might be key for the last person.

Yeah the drawback is obvious though clumsy. I think if we have both ghosts claim then only the visitors out hiding places that might eliminate one of the obvious issues?

Then we just cycle visitors?

It's not bad, it's just a waste of time. We can narrow down people who might be ghosts, but since there are only two predetermined suspects (me and the other ghost) all of our narrowing down is ultimately futile. All of the visitors can be ruled out right now as soon as the other ghost either claims or I out them.

It isn't going to hurt us, but it isn't helpful either. It doesn't do anything. That isn't shooting down proper discussion, it's being realistic.

And also right now this discussion can only help the bad ghost because the only way to get better than 50% odds of the visitors winning is through Bad Ghost error, that's why it should be shut down.

But suspecting me is a good strategy for surviving, lol.

Interesting that we all basically fell evenly across all the rides. This will cut down the bad ghost quicker than halving it each time.
