Had I known it was going to be that close I would have ja'ed the mallow-random pair. I thought it was going to be easy nein though with how much people didn't like mallow.

That wonderful warm feeling when Yoshi and I agreed on most things.
That terrible sinking feeling when Yoshi turned out to be playing the long game.

I love the way you play fwiw. I was focused on playing how I would as a liberal. I love your logical approach to things. Like, if I ever play a game with you again, you'll probably be who I interact with the most.

Whom. Also, Yoshi corrections for earlier posts: whomever, whom, whom, whom, and whom. Also, an earlier correction for RC: who. Sorry, I do this a lot. :Þ

All that aside, thank you for saying that. I liked your liberal façade; it was very convincing.

I'd be interested in feedback on the rules, deadlines, etc. and how they can be improved. I was mostly winging it here, trying to emulate the tabletop version as closely as possible. I'm open to ideas for modifying the game for future iterations.

the game kind of dragged out at a certain point - maybe faster deadlines...?

I agree with faster deadlines for voting. Not that sure about the deadlines for nominating.
Does the physical game have any way to deal with presidents not wanting to nominate a chancellor, or taking too long to do so?

I don't think so, and I can't find anything in the rules to contradict me. The president
must
nominate a chancellor for the game to proceed, but there's no specified time limit. (Most board games don't have time controls built in, I guess.)

Arguably this would be better emulated by saying the opposing faction wins the game if the president doesn't nominate anyone, but that's a pretty harsh penalty for someone going AFK.

Two reminders, after 24 and 48 hours, then replacement within some time frame else auto-loss?

If we're going to go with that, it would be better to just modkill the president and force them to lose rather than everyone on their team. Otherwise one troll can throw the game for their entire team just by not nominating.

Losing one player would be a serious disadvantage but not an insurmountable one.

I would say force replace rather than modkill
2019 stats: Town WR 76.7%, overall WR 81.667%, 1 scum defeat involving a major mod error in lylo vs 8 scum wins.
