Joining game...

VOTE: YEA on all except P004
VOTE: NAY on P004

P007: If your reputation is greater than or equal to (256 + Player X's reputation), you may assassinate player X, removing them from the game. They can re-join as a new player in 68 hours.

Also, let me go ahead and curse this game to its doom by adding the market... (it seems that whenever a game where you can make your own rules is created, and I add something like this to it, the game dies):
P008A player may choose to spend reputation in the market. No one may "reserve" or "pre-order" shares.
The price for the first share is 1 reputation, the next is 2, then 3, etc. Of course, we are all buying from the same supply, and so the price for the next share is equal to (# of shares currently owned by all players + 1).
You can also sell a share. The sell-back price is equal to the number of current investors.
The cooldown between any two market actions is 20 hours.

Or maybe I should think positive(ly?) and say, let us break that curse now!

a fluctuating price that has to be kept track of is way too easy to cause burnout

Please keep track of which proposals are still undergoing discussion. I try to keep the wiki up to date, but I can't always. Right now with 5 players, any proposal with 3 yeas or 3 nays is enacted or refused respectively.

P009: Rule Titles

Rules shall have titles; any proposal suggesting a rule must also suggest a title for said rule. Existing rules can be given titles or have their titles altered by titling proposals, beginning with T001.

P011: Wiki Maintenance

The person who makes a proposal is responsible for all wiki edits associated with that proposal

--
i want to make it easier for allomancer but this might make some people less interested in playing if they're responsible for the wiki edits, idk

Just for posterity, gonna write this here. As of the passing of P010, reputation is as follows:
Allo: 18
Charles: 10
Skitter: 6
Vizzy: 8
2.718: 0

and it might make the wiki a mess if people don't do the edits properly?
idk i wanted to put the idea on the table

I don't think that's the solution. I'm willing to put more work in then everyone else, I just want some of you to at least try to edit the wiki sometimes.

Thanks.

I'm too lazy to do this myself, but if someone could come up with a list of title proposals for existing rules, I would be extremely grateful.

T001: Title Proposals for Some Past Rules

R201 - Minimum Number of Active Players
R202 - Naming System for Rules, Proposals, and Amendments
R203 - Definition of Amendment
R204 - Minimum Number of Votes for Rules and Amendments Or Repeals for Mutable Rules
R205 - Resolution of Rule Conflicts
R206 - Acceptable Voting Methods
R207 - Wiki Maintenance
R301 - Establishment of Reputation
R302 - Self-Voting
R303 - Proposal Changes During the Voting Period
R304 - Definition of Call for Judgement

P012: Title Uniqueness

Each proposal or rule must be given a unique title

R202 could be shortened to just Naming System and R204 is ridiculously long - how about Minimum Number of Votes for Mutable Rules. Also, P012 causes R207 and P011 to conflict. When you invoke R303 to change it I will vote yea. Also, R304 could be changed to Calls for Judgement, R301 to Reputation, and R203 to Amendments.

P013: Judicial Precedent

The verdicts of CfJs should always remain consistent with prior CfJs and establish similar verdicts for similar situations, barring a rule change having altered the situation.

P014: Spirit of the Rules

The spirit of the rules should always take precedence over technical loopholes.

OK sure. Also after i made p012, i realized it could have just been an amendment to p009, sorry. i don't think we have a mechanism in place yet to allow people to withdraw proposals but maybe i should make one

Revised version of T001:
(not a new proposal; invoking R303)

R201 - Minimum Number of Active Players
R202 - Naming System
R203 - Definition of Amendment
R204 - Minimum Number of Votes for Mutable Rules
R205 - Resolution of Rule Conflicts
R206 - Acceptable Voting Methods
R207 - Maintaining the Wiki
R301 - Reputation
R302 - Self-Voting
R303 - Amendments to Proposals
R304 - Calls for Judgement

Who knows what the spirit of a rule is? The rules should always be followed to the letter, including technical loopholes. Be sure to put the spirit of the rule as part of the text of the rule.
