If the standings in League 2 hold, the 7th highest scoring team that would typically finish 7-7 is about to be the #1 seed. At this point getting the wild card would be preferable to winning your division, because you'd get to play them. This is easily one of the worst instances of head to head randomness that I've seen.- D3f3nd3r

Division of Death still living up to it's namesake, top 3 in pts for currently and could very well end up with top 3 in W/L depending on how the last week goes. I expect to fall to 5th as I get Yiley and Tally gets Jahudo this week.
Regardless, Thunder, Yiley, and one of me/Tally are for sure playoff spots. It looks like mith's Envy division is still a 3-way toss up between Helmet, Ninja, and Pabs. I believe Helmet is at least ensured top 8. Consolation/relegation is a mess right now but for sure will be the other of me/Tally. Bottom 4 for sure contains Ju Ju and Jahudo. Looks like anybody making it to 7-7 gets top 8 at least. Most dramatic scenario could end up with 2 teams at 7-7 (one wins division, one in consolation) and 4 teams at 6-8 (2 make consolation, 2 for relegation).- Rhinox

Also it's interesting that L1 pts for are so much higher than L2. 14530 vs 13321, a difference of ~100pts/team, or ~7.75pts/team/week. Those are point being left on the bench? I assume the league rules and roster sizes are the same, and if so the lists of rostered players are probably very similar between the 2 leagues as well.- Kmd4390

It's about 100 points/team different because the screenshots are a week apartIn post 304, Rhinox wrote:Also it's interesting that L1 pts for are so much higher than L2. 14530 vs 13321, a difference of ~100pts/team, or ~7.75pts/team/week. Not counting decimals for each team I had 14525 (L1) vs 14342 (L2) as of now- Rhinox

Uhhh I'm 5-8 and in 10th place, swapping schedules would not make things worse for me.In post 302, Gammagooey wrote:You do also get in even if you lose if I can't beat the ACCURSED DUCKS
And it could have been even worse tbf, if T-bone and I swapped schedules the recap for last week said we'd be at like 2-9 and 3-8 not counting matches against each other which is a big woof- Gammagooey

I think either of us switching with just about anyone else would be an improvement since we had the two hardest schedules in the league but us in particular swapping looks like the literal worst case scenario for both of us.

I'd give you a good chance to beat me, it's been all downhill since my 6-0 start. Losing David Johnson as a reliable starter has really hurt meIn post 302, Gammagooey wrote:You do also get in even if you lose if I can't beat the ACCURSED DUCKS

I left Emmanuel Sanders on the bench with 26 points, am currently losing 64-5, and now my best RB was just declared out. Thank God I clinched last week, this week is a disaster- Kublai Khan

With my win over Poker, L2 playoffs are set assuming the Eagles defense doesn’t score 27 points:
(1) Charles510 (probably 10-4, if not 11-3) vs (4) D3f3nd3r (9-5)
(2) Kublai Khan (9-5) vs (3) Aronis (9-5)
By points, the seeding should be (1) Gamma, (2) KK, (3) Aronis, (4) IS - I’d be sixth and Charles would be roughly eighth I think.“The assumption of good faith is dead”

It looks like I would have lost to Def3nd3r this week by 5 points or so if we played head-to-head this last week instead of me vs Ducks, so that takes a bit of the sting out of it at least
My prediction is that KK takes League 2, he ran up 145 points in the game he played against me despite one of his WRs scoring 0 points and seems overall very terrifying- Aronis

don't count me out yet! if I can just get another 37 point performance from my new england defense playing a weak Cincinnati team, I'll steamroll KK.In post 315, Gammagooey wrote:It looks like I would have lost to Def3nd3r this week by 5 points or so if we played head-to-head this last week instead of me vs Ducks, so that takes a bit of the sting out of it at least

H2H is just massively swingy. EVE and/or points forced are much better indications of team performance than your H2H record. In post 300, Aronis wrote:If the standings in League 2 hold, the 7th highest scoring team that would typically finish 7-7 is about to be the #1 seed. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

My preference would be to stay at 12, especially if getting to 14 involves pulling someone in who isn't on mafiascum. For promotion, L2 #5, #6, #9, and #10 would each move up a spot (with L1 #9 and #10 falling a spot and L1 #12 falling two).“The assumption of good faith is dead”

L1 only relegated 3 last year because of the 10 team L2 coupled with the 5 team (+dupes) L3. It's been a while since it mattered, but a 12-team L2 4th has always been ahead of L1 9th. (It happens that this year L2 doesn't have any particularly weak playoff teams.)
Somehow I have backed into a consolation bracket spot, with the highest score in the league the last two weeks. If only my team hadn't been such a disaster the rest of the year... (Or if division record was all that mattered for winning the division!) - mith
