Dweller cleared egix which means that he had to because egix is actually liberal, or dweller knew egix was fascist but if he knew he was fascist and wouldn't out his false clear then we'd know that egix isn't hitty and most likely is just liberal and dweller is fascist.

I set the game up expecting to get a few people who had played a few times or were curious because this was a mafia site, playing with the secrethitler.io meta really changed the game up in a way I wasn't expecting. In particular I kind of feel it stranded Egix and dweller, cos unlike lib there is no one able to explain scum strategy to them under the meta. I'm curious to hear what they thought of it.

I didn't particularly enjoy the meta either, felt it was either
(1) play not by meta which is scumsided and not fun
(2) play by meta which is a game of statistics and chance and not fun

I joined because there were a few people i really wanted to play with, and i did enjoy shooting the shit with them, but overall not something I'd play again

Like I think that daychat would make things really fash sided but I wonder if there was some sort of limit on communication per legislative session (maybe 10 messages per fash) to simulate body language hints irl or something it would help balance things

Like that would have allowed vex who was more experienced with the meta to council dweller at some key moments potentially

The other nice thing is that I think limited pt comms/messages would also throw off the meta more, as there would be a viable counter for it in fash coordination

This would be sorta interesting, but overall idk how much it would help, since i think that a lot of random things, such as who is in which seat, influence the game a lot

Admittedly it would be getting progressively further away from secret Hitler, but it would make it more interesting imo if there was some functionality to shuffle seats/reverse seat order a limited number of times

Yeah, I thought about this but I think the problem is that might allow too much planning? But could be tried as well. I think one big problem would be if they were able to discuss strategy on whether to drop or not while making that decision

Or “shade mena now”

When I signed up for this game I was really hoping that I get a liberal role. It would have been much easier but I also enjoyed playing as fascist. Being liberal is straightforward you don't have to lie but you have to lie if you're fascist. But playing fascist also helps us in thinking from different perspectives and how to lie and cover each other.
