First time I actually managed to get the answer before the game ended as a spectator. :D

GE was probably right to take a shot at it, though what he guessed was impossible. I figured it out after Pine's last guess, so Pine, skitter and Nancy could all have won.

I see you're making assumptions based on what people are asking, though, and that's dangerous.

Hm? there were no assumptions made. The question marks next to three cards are "this is probably the cards they have, but it doesn't matter if i figure them out because I know the solution already".

That's fair

The room was my Achilles heel this game. I had presumptive positives on Plum and Revolver ages ago, but the process of elimination on the rooms was prohibitive. No one guessed Hall at all (though now as I look back at my spreadsheet, I'd eliminated everything from Mena's column except Peacock and Hall, should have had that) and not the Kitchen until Nancy at the end. I couldn't positively eliminate Study either.

I sat there analyzing the spreadsheet for twenty minutes before passing, but couldn't justify a YOLO guess. Pity. If I had noticed the Hall connection, I'd have had a 50/50 shot, and Kitchen was a tighter guess.

Damn. Good game.

This might be better as a live game.

Until your last suggestion I didn't know the room. However, once your guess confirmed to me that Formerfish (or whoever replaced him, i kept using original names) does not have Plum (and thus Plum is the solution), i realized he must have Scarlet.

I still had 3 rooms possible, but - i knew I didn't have Kitchen. Neither Xtoxm nor Mena had Kitchen because of an earlier guess. I knew all of skitt's and Pine's cards, and they didn't have it either. I knew 2 of FF's cards. Once I realized his last one is Scarlet, that meant he couldn't have Kitchen either. And he was the last possible candidate for it.

I'd love to play again too, but is there a way for this to be a marathon? The fact this game lasted over 3 months is kinda annoying.

Especially given that every round necessitates 18 actions - guess, response, accusation/pass times six

FF/Nancy had the Lounge and the Knife and each player has only 3 cards. So if you assume they have Plum then they can't have any other card, no one else had the Kitchen, so if FF/Nancy has Plum the Kitchen would have been in the envelope.
