I could be Joni Mitchell, you just don't know
Also, what is NM doing? Worst play I’ve ever seen.
I can't remember the last N_M post that wasn't bland, unimaginative and lame. Some shitposters are at least somewhat funny. You are the epitomy of the type of poster that nobody would miss if you were to suddenly disappear. You never add anything of value.
I'm guessing you haven't read the game and probably never will? Why even sign up to play?

Counterpoint: Falsetto is
fun
.

By the way, did you know that it wasn't until the 1950s that people started to accept the premise that women could sing falsetto? Every time I remember that I still can't believe it.

Oh yeah and I submitted my song. There's a fun vocoder part in the middle that I didn't use a vocoder on!

oh i've not posted since i was elimmed. sry i got so worried abt my weak control of tone-over-typed-words i was worried i wouldn't b able to sound gracious! i was def the weakest remaining (not that that's a self-insult bc everyone's been great from square 1) so right call, and ngl i don't really have any care for any country like i did my other performances so the lack of passion held my performance back on top of that. well done everyone else n keep smashing it

I assume they just referred to it as head voice?

Oh flubber I think I just realized what song you’re thinking of and that is not the one I did. Though in retrospect my choice of words does make it seem that way

I put fairly strict rules on myself for karaoke song choice, and that’s one of the nice things about this contest because we can do multiple takes instead of risking it live

Okay I have all submissions. I am a touch busy this afternoon so I likely will not have these judged until late tonight/tomorrow before work. Sorry in advance. I double booked myself.

Okay so sorry for the late results. I'm now going to judge all of the entries and put up results.

I will let you all know that one person did not submit/removed themselves from this contest. So everyone who submitted is moving on, and the only judging I will be doing is to determine who will pick the final 2 themes.

Okay I have results.

70s was a very diverse time, and it showed in a diverse set of song choices from our contestants. Obviously we all learned that someone did not submit this round and as a result, they are gone. I want to tell this person that I hope everything goes well and that you were a ball of sunshine in this contest. I hope you keep up your joy and love of singing and that you continue to follow your heart and passions as you brought a lot to this contest and will be missed by all.

As for the rest of you...

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Congratulations
Mina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you are the winner of the round! You also have won the final prize of being able to have the final decision on which theme comes next. From this point on, all themes have been pre-determined.

In addition, I want to let everyone know that there will be a twist happening during the final 3 and final 2 rounds that will be revealed next round and a fundamental change to how everything has gone in this contest thus far.

This round, however (and final 4) will proceed as normal. To the winner: Please determine which theme is next, and ultimately also which theme will be in the f4 round. It's a huge choice and it could mean the difference between making the final 3 and falling short of the prize:

-Eurovision
-Non-Animated Movie Hits

You have until tomorrow at 6pm PDT/9pm EDT (a little late, I know) to choose the theme. As always if you choose sooner than the deadline, please post publicly so that we can move on with the contest <3

^_^

Yeah, fuck it, I'm not sure if this is the most strategic choice, but my personal goal was to last until this round, so I'm locking that in now:

Eurovision

Also, Haschel will be happy!

I'm really sad lilith had to drop. Hope things are okay with you.

Also, this might have been our last chance to take out Flubbernugget.
