I don't think the freezer door works anymore, or maybe it's not there anymore. I have Jia's special piece of paper that always had the current code on it - it's blank now

And if that's the case, I expect the computer with the CCTV feed and messaging to the basement isn't in working order either.

The laundry chute might be a possible way out, but it leads to fashion store which is also trashed. Was there a link between the cinema and the secret lab??

I think it's probably safest if we travel in groups when leaving the eatery. There's one location that has an item useful for getting more info than Lacey/Yvonne were able to get in the office, and there's another location that I believe would be most useful for my personal goal. Because we have unexpected guests suddenly shows back up, it may be better to whisper further on this subject, but in any case I would prefer not to travel alone.

"I intend to still go, alone or otherwise."

"Firstly, I think it may have a level of unfamiliarness to Xavier that might mean that some of his tricks don't work there. Secondly, we need something to drag him out of his hole."

"I think it's important to rescue Lacey, but there appears to be no obvious way for us to get into the lab. If there is a way out, I trust that she is resourceful enough to find it. There *may* be another exit to the lab in the alleyway next to the bank. We still never found out exactly where that guard came from. It's possible they were teleported, it's also possible not. Also, Xavier *may* not have been lying about getting out through the freezer. It's possible the door and lock was destroyed but the entrance is still viable."

"Depending on how Xavier's teleporter works, this could be a blessing in disguise. The next time he teleports back in, she can attempt to subdue him. She should be concerned though, I don't think anyone other than Xavier gave confirmation as to the clones actually being destroyed, we may still have to deal with Casey and, regrettably, Cindy."

"Someone should ask Lacey if the time machine truly does appear destroyed."

*Looks at Jia, expectently and curious.*

I would like to go with a group who are looking for Xavier. I'm willing to risk my skin to stop him. If anyone would like my company or support please advise me aloud or via whisper.

Johannes pulls the walkie-talkie away from his face to address the crowd. "Well, the good news is Lacey said she is not trapped, but merely feels compelled to explore the lab for the next while. She said that the freezer door is indeed permanently open now. She does confirm that the time machine is destroyed. Casey's body is still there, as is Cindy's." He grimaces.
"Yvonne," says Johannes, "What did the security console look like? I'm encouraging Lacey to search for Xavier through the cameras, but I'm not even certain the device is still available. To any extent, I imagine he will be moving along himself. Cornering him will be difficult as long as he can teleport... My best guess is that the teleporter links the lab to other locations by means of a remote control that Xavier has probably taken with him, so it is useless to the rest of us. I've suggested Lacey try to render it useless to everyone so at least we will be on even footing."
"And no, we did not manage to fix the gas... Do you think it's important?"

The security console was just a normal looking computer. From memory near the north end of the west wall - adjacent to a switch on the wall which I believe was quite near to the freezer/cafe door. The PC was securely affixed where it was and could not be taken.
