The first thing you notice is the laundry chute from the fashion store. You realise that you could have just jumped down that any old time you wanted - had you gone there instead

The lab is cold, and perfect for you.

THe key takeaways:
-Its dark in here. Emergency lighting is on. There is a power problem in the room.
-There is a table for you to make a frankenstein - sans a body. YOu need to kill someone.
-There is a device on the North Wall, that is your portal device. Its unpowered for the time being. You wont be able to run that this phase.
-There are 4 cloning vats in the centre of the room. 2 have female bodies in them, floating in water with tubes connected. 1 has a Male body. The fourth is smashed. Glass and water on the floor. THere are watery footprints leading to the laundry chute.
-The laundry chute comes out on the south wall, and has a mattress there for a soft landing for bodies.
-There is a torch (flashlight) on the floor
-There is a time machine on the south wall. This is your pride and joy. It will change the world! It also has no power
-There is a computer system (more detail coming)

Ultimately, there were 3 different ways you could have gotten here - The Laundry Chute, The Door, and one other which you may or may not discover later. There are clues all over the mall, which you will probably find later :)

I'll take the torch.

I assume the portal device is not portable?

I assume since you said key takeaways there is nothing more to discover, but I'll take a look round with the torch just in case.

Can I see anything that would indicate the power problem?

Can I remember anything about the 4th body? I assume it's been broken out the way (as in the body got out, rather than someone opening it?)

Before I spend time agonising over it, the capital letters in 56 in YOu and THere and Male, are they spelling mistakes or something I should note?

I realise they are watery but can you tell me anything, (like the size) of the footprints?

The fact there is a timemachine makes me worry there is a second me out there.

The capitisation is my bad typing skills. I always do it.

The foot prints are very large. Larger than your own feet.

This is the Lab - Use this as the layout rather than my descriptions before hand - It should have everything you can see (You dont need the torch to see - emergency lighting is enough). You will learn about the power as time goes on.

The machinery is not portable. You will need to investigate machines to learn about them. The piping on walls is along the ceilings, and goes over stuff.

The computer system is a laptop, it has power as a result. Not much but some. Its bolted in place to the table, and plugged in. But it wont be back on full until the mains are back on.

The generator runs the cloning vats, and the computer. It cannot run the other things in the room. For those, you will need the mains back and running.

Investigate each machine

Investigate the people in the cloning vats, can I get a description of them? I assume they are still alive?

On the north wall on the left hand side of the map, it just says machine? What is that?

The laptop if I run out of power will it kill the clones? Only if not, see what is on the laptop

The male looks like you. Oh yeah he was a clone of you. The female, you remember. You kidnapped her. She was a customer here in the mall. You remember now, you cloned her as experiment, and since it worked you cloned yourself. That means the missing clone must be a 2nd copy of you and in the mall. You arent sure yet if thats a blessing or a curse.

Frank(enstein)ly you have no idea if your clone escaped, or someone released him...

The clones are wired to the generator. That wont stop any time soon.

The machine on the left is your patented Frankenator. Put a body down on the table and it will do the rest. It has enough power to do its job.

So I could potentially put the female clone in the Frankenator? What does the Frankenator exactly do?

Would she survive out of the generator?

What do I look like without the disguise on?

I have no idea which camera to use. Give me a sec to think about it.

I guess I could put my other male clone in the generator, or the actual female.

Are the clones perfectly genetic copies? Is there any difference in a normal human to a clone human? (basically am I going to screw up if I put a clone in the machine?)

You wont consider putting a clone on the Frankenator. In the back of your mind, you know that would be utterly disasterous to have a Frankenstein that sees you as the kidnapper.

Its tempting to make yourself the Frankenstein, but if that Frankenstein sees itself as smarter than you - it might just attack you.

If you insist on doing it, I will let you.

But lets be really clear. Your intuition is that it would be very, very bad for you.

Stick to your win condition, and kill someone ;)

The clones are good but not perfect

Lets just say your superior intellect knows that merging two totally different potential story lines will end poorly :D

view basement cameras

It has to be doesn't it? I know Im not going to learn anything from the cafe, I thought about the fashion store to see who was in there, and the public toilets well... it might be worth a punt, but the basement seems like the best shout.

What do I look like without the disguise on?
I assume I'd be able to recognise my clone. I guess the description in my role PM is the description?

Yeah, it should be in your PM

The camera zooms in on Johannes Berger, who is in the basement. He plays around with pipes on the wall, breaks them, and then starts panicking
