The Curse of Rata Mall - Cafe

Image
File Photo: THe Hardware Store from the past when it was busier

Present are:
Porochaz
is Xavier Lynch: Male, Early 20s Short, bookish, well groomed, Red Puffer Jacket, skinny. Carrying a Wok

This room is a lot nicer to relax in than the eatery, that is for certain. Comfy chairs, albeit old. Tables. A clock ticking away on the wall. A stack of newspapers for the discerning guest. The room is split into two distinct sections - the customer area and the serving area for the staff, with a door leading off to the kitchen. There is a cola machine and a pepsi machine on the north and south walls respectively. A gas heater, sits on the western wall, turned off. There is a coffee maker on the counter top, just away from the cash register.

You can see the Pinball, Madame Seer Machine and Pacman machine from the window, back in the eatery.

Room Deadline

Depending on what you mean by serving area:

On the counter, there are Mentos, Chocolate Bars (including Dark), a Cash Register, A jar of what appears to be yeast, and on either side of the counter are a Cola Machine, and a Pepsi Machine. THere is a coffee maker as well, and it has old grinds in it.

In the area where people eat, there is a newspaper rack for discerning customers, Tables and Chairs, and a clock ticking away on the wall (Who said Malls never have clocks). THere is a small amount of cutlery on some tables, and a couple of clean looking (cant guarantee that) cups.

There are power sockets on the walls. And behind the counter. You pocket the random things you found.

No secret door in Drinks Machines
There is almost 100 dollars in coins in the register, but no notes. You grab it and count it out - 88.25 in full.
The Taser is plugged in and charging. You will automatically take it back when you return to the Eatery. You can grab it back after 24 hours if you need it for some reason (why, I cant imagine)
You head to the kitchen. More coming

Yeah copy and paste saves me so much time, but it is also a cruel mistress

THe kitchen is bigger than you thought it would be:

Theres a decent sized kitchen bench, one of those island kind, right in the middle of the room. It has a microwave oven precariously placed on the end of the bench, and a nice knife just sitting there. On the wall is a clock, ticking away. THere are all kinds of ingredients in here: Cheese, Hops, Sugar, Pumpkin Seeds, Mouldy Beans (probably best to ignore those) and Tomatoes. Tomato plants to be more precise. The are sitting right under a dripping tap, so they've survived nicely, but there is a mess of rotten tomato pulp all around from ones that werent picked.

There is also a Fridge by the door. ITs running, but probably wasnt for months. It stinks, and it stinks bad. Theres a gas stove, thankfully unlit, and not leaking gas.

There is a walk in freezer.

can I see my inventory this far?

Take the knife, put down the wok I have.

Take the cheese

Check the walk in freezer to ensure if I go in I can easily get out! I've seen too many shows to know how that can go! If I can then go in and investigate freezer.

You do everything that you say. The walk in Freezer is the most interesting, as it brings back memories of your lab. The entrance way is in here somewhere...

There are shelves here, loaded with boxes on the back wall. 3 meat hooks on the right, labelled Q, X and Z. And a pile of frozen vegetable bags on your left.

The knife is worth +1 to your attack strength, and it can be used to kill. If a person is distracting, say searching something, you may go up behind them and attempt to kill them. It has an 80% chance of killing which is pretty good.

Im not sure what the other stuff will do for you, but finding creative uses for stuff in this game is to be commended :)

The pumpkin seeds are just to snack on to be fair.

Look through and around the boxes

Pull on the meat hooks all individually then if nothing happens in a systematic order like Q,X,Z then Q,Z,X etc. to see if anything happens.

In the boxes you find an icicle. It will be a great weapon if someone comes in here.
