Head behind the Sales Desk, looking for scissors. Use the screwdriver to break open the till, hoping for a roll of coins. (A roll of coins in your fist makes your punches considerably more damaging.) If there is any cash in the till, take it. If there's time, look into the laundry chute. Am I at the top of it and could go down, or at the bottom of it? If the bottom, could I climb up?

There are scissors under the desktop. They are a good size and sharp. The till has 60 dollars in it, in twenties. No coins or coinrolls.

The laundry chute goes down. It feels familiar. You have a vague memory you climbed up it to end up in the mall in the first place. Come to think of it, you probably took the clothes you are wearing from the mannequin outside. Its all coming back to you slowly.

Nice. I had written that openly, thinking that no one else is in the room, anyway. But after posting it I realized that, if someone does come into this room later, that info will still be there. Oh well.

I'll put the scissors in my pocket, point side down, and push them through the bottom of the pocket so that they will stay correctly oriented for a quick grab if I have to defend myself. I'll put the money distributed in my other pockets.

If there's time, I'll check out the safe, as well. Otherwise I'm ready to head back out to the central area.

A new thread will be created for future visits to this room. This thread will become locked off at the end of this session.

The rooms all have a 5 days deadline, so you certainly have time to explore the safe. It's locked shut. 4 digit pin.

OK. Thanks.

4 digit pin. Pffft. Study the keys to see which ones are oily from use and/or worn down a bit. If I can come up with 4 keys that are used more than the others, try all 24 combinations.

Your best guess is 1,2,3,4.... Maybe 5, 6 probably not, actually, thats too hard. Perhaps theres a clue in store somewhere - or a hint.

If this were a typical escape game on Armor games, I'd count how many articles of clothing are on each of the four racks and those would be the four numbers. :-) I don't do that.

Yeah, no, the answers to any puzzles in this game should be logical answers - not utterly random nonsense :). If you find the answer, it should be clear cut and obvious - Such as its written on the safe itself (its not) not encoded in the RGB values of the shirts. ANd if you get totally stuck, you did already mention the laundry chute

In addition to looking all around the desk and the computer area for a note or a sticky or some such (or maybe a notebook), also check the computer itself. Is it functional? I guess I'll be looking around for something with a username and password, as well.

The computer is functional but theres nothing on it suggestive of a safe combination. Its a sales pc.

You don’t find anything of note like that in here. Unfortunately it looks as though the staff in here were clever enough to not write the PIN down on anything where someone would find it.

Ok. Let's check the laundry chute. You said I remember coming up the chute in the first place. Do I remember anything that was down there? If I look down, do I see anything?

You look down and see nothing. It's dark.

Do I take it you are jumping down, climbing down, or other?

No, but I'll save the idea for later, perhaps if I have to escape a group of people going after the deformed hunchback.

It definitely seems that you answer only one question per note. I suppose that's intentional. (This is not a question.)

You hear an almighty crash, as if someone had driven a truck through a wall. It was unbelievably loud and you felt that through the floor. What the hades is everyone else up to out there

OK. Last thing in here. Go to the sales rack and, using my handy screwdriver, remove one of the upright pieces to serve as a quarterstaff.

I was wondering if someone would do that. The bars of the rack will make an excellent weapon
