So you’ve been down there this whole time? You got there from the eatery?

Also while we talk, I’m going to work

keep looking around for a roller cart or stand to use with the safe

"I entered through the door in the back of the fridge in the cafe. And I am here to stop the Augmentation League, a group of drones who drug and inject mind control chips into people to create more drones. They have a telltale glow under the arm, which is why I wanted to see your arm earlier."

Me? I’m trying to reclaim my rightful claim to being a wonderful mall host.

These folks sound pretty dreadful. They might be the assholes who are using the security cameras. Happy to help you root them out.

Also, tell me more about any ways in which I can identify a clone. I’ve seen some interesting things about some folks here.

"There are three ways to identify a drone. First, they have a distinctive green glow under the right arm. Second, they possess no memories from the time before they became a drone. And third, they will carry the equipment necessary to convert others - syringes, and microchips."

"I have confirmed that you and Talitha here are both clean, and groza and Primate were both clean in the Bank last round. It is possible that they could have been converted by the time we meet them again, if they ended up in a room with a drone and nobody else, but I told them to stay on the lookout."

Oh, I’m just curious to see what’s in it and I’m going to force break the 4-digit code. I got up to 0500.

I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with this $300? Are you buying my silence?

So if you’ve got yourself a gun, why not just bring this all up when we were together?

"Huh, interesting. I'd assumed that given the talk of thievery, and the obsession with the safe, that me taking money from this building is not something you would be okay with? But perhaps I am mistaken on that. I have no use for it regardless so if your goal is to hunt down those who take things, I will leave it here."

"My thought process with not confronting them in the eatery was twofold - first, if I draw a gun, there is a high likelihood I get jumped by those who do not understand that my intentions are in their interests, and second, said gun only has a single shot before it has to spend a considerable amount of time recharging. As you can see I am not exactly the strongest person here, so my best chance is ensuring that the fight is one on one."

"If enough people are confirmed not to be drones and would join me in forcing the drones to reveal themselves, I would consider it."

No. The safe is just a thing to play with.

A rechargeable gun? Now that is interesting.

SOunded a bit like one of the doors opening and shutting to the changing rooms. Two are open, and the one Talitha is locked behind is firmly shut.

The politician mannequin suddenly topples over and crashes to the floor. It seems to have dropped, or possibly hit by, a tasty looking but slightly old donut. The donut sits on the floor
