2020 NFL 3 Strikes Challenge

(Format and rules and everything taken from my hosting of this game the last few years and Pablito's the years prior)
Pretty much the standard Eliminator challenge, but you get additional lives.

RULES

The objective of the challenge is to correctly select a "Winning Pick" for one NFL game each week.

Each week, you must select one team which you believe will be the winner of that game. Please post in thread and bold your pick for that week. If you are correct, you stay alive. However, if your pick for that week does not win its game, or you fail to make a pick for a given week, you earn a Strike. If you earn three Strikes, you are eliminated.
Once you pick a team, you can't use that team the rest of the season.

The last remaining person wins. If more than one person is left standing after Week 17 (or if all remaining players were eliminated the same week), the following tiebreaker is used:

1. The person who has the least amount of Strikes
2. The person who has the most correct picks (
added this year to punish a player for picking a team that ties
)
3. The person who has the longest streak of correct picks
4. I don't want to deal with more tiebreakers than this, so if multiple players are tied at this point we will go into the postseason (with team selections reset) or continue with the next week, continuing until the tie has been broken. However, if any tied player doesn’t want to continue, we can just call it a tie at this point.

Lock-time

All selections will lock at the scheduled kick-off of each game (as found on the NFL website). Players must make sure their picks are submitted by the scheduled lock-time each week. You will not be able to make selections for games that have already locked. Selections submitted after the deadline are considered invalid, and will not be counted as Winning Picks. Entrants who submit selections after the lock time and do not submit another entry for the week will earn a Strike. Feel free to change your pick as long as both the game you are changing from and the game you are changing to have not reached their respective lock-times.

Tie Games

In the event a game should end in a tie after overtime, players that had selected teams in the game as their picks for that week will neither be recorded with a Winning Pick or a Strike.

Joining in Late:

Players have until Week 3 to join.
If you join in Week 2, you start the game with one Strike. If you join in Week 3, you start the game with two Strikes.

Before we get started with opening night this Thursday, I’d like to talk about what to do with ties (following up on our discussion from last year) and with any last-minute Covid-related game postponements. For the former, I added a line to the tiebreaker rule saying that the first tiebreaker after number of strikes is number of winning picks, which I think is sufficient, but I’d like feedback. For the latter, I’m not really sure if we need to do anything beyond the usual “pay attention and change your pick”.

I won 2015 and I think 2011 or 2012 before we really kept history of this game. Defender only player with 2 victories back to back
