actually as much as I hate to bet on birds, Ravens vs. Cowboys on the 8th still counts as a week 13 game right? I'd rather take the
Ravens
if that's an option. Though maybe I'll change my mind on that again after seeing exactly how badly they lose to the Steelers tomorrow.

Week 12 - maybe

BAL < PIT

Week 13

CLE < TEN
LVR
> NYJ
JAX < MIN
CIN < MIA
IND > HOU
DET > CHI
NOS > ATL
NYG < SEA
LAR < ARI
NEP > LAC
PHI < GBP
DEN < KCC
BUF > SF

Week 13 - Maybe

WFT ? PIT
DAL ? BAL
Really depends on what personnel can play because covid can really take any player or position away and make a game unwinnable. I am looking at you, Denver

Gonna look for the
Raiders
to bounce back against the soon to be 0-16 Jets

I slept on the Dallas vs Baltimore games last night and came to a conclusion. If Lamar Jackson plays, then I Baltimore will win. If he still has covid, then I say they lose. As far as Steelers go, I see upset! You got a well rested team who played last on Thanksgiving. They will have ample time to prepare and have a good coach and strong pass defense. Steelers running back James Connor has covid. And more people could get Covid. So Pitt will covid on one offensive front and have to deal with the second best defensive front on the other offensive front. Also history of previous seasons has Steelers losing games to really bad teams. They play down to their competition and lost to the Jets one year where the Jets had less than 5 wins. Steelers almost lost to Dallas this year as they didn't take their backup quarter back who used to play for the browns seriously. So
I will not make it my eliminator pick
, but I think WFT beats the steelers as of right now. And if Baltimore is still having Covid issues, Baltimore loses to Dallas. Another team that should be well rested and prepared as they have not played since Thanksgiving either

Some sort of scare for just about everyone to have made a pick today as the Vikes go to overtime, the Raiders need a last-second pass, and the Packers nearly give up a big fourth-quarter lead. Gamma's pick plays Tuesday night, so I figured we may as well get the next round started now in case anyone wants to pick Pats/Rams.

DAL < BAL
Lamar was just activate off the covid list so Baltimore should win now. Pitt is still without connor and Ben is not healthy either so gonna keep one of my upset picks

Week 14

NEP < LAR
TEN > JAX
MIN <
TBB

KC > MIA
DEN < CAR
HOU > CHI
ARI > NYG
DAL > CIN
IND > LVR
NYJ < SEA
GBP > DET
ATL > LAC
WAS > SF9
NOS > PHI
PIT < BUF

Vikings came very close to losing to the jags and Tampa gets 2 weeks to prepare for Minnesota. I will save Seattle for another time since their schedule look so good. Really surprised they lost to Giants week 13.
Go Bucaneers

Really glad I got on the WFT beats Pitt train as early as I did. Got some good things out of this bet. Kinda wish I had used my pick on them since I don't think I will pick Washington rest of the way through

The only reason I'd have to not pick the seahawks would be b/c too many other people are also picking the seahawks

so
Seahawks
for now

I am kinda expecting Washington to come back to earth after the pitt game and be ripe for seattle to take them down next game. Washington is without gibson this week. If gibson out next week then absolutely Seattle is my pick week 15. Tennessee not a bad play this week but Jags have been showing life recently doing well against GB, Cleveland, Minnesota. Its also a divisional game where Jags are at home. So not gonna touch it after Browns beat up Titans. I feel Tampa is the best play. Rodgers threw many int against their Def. You want to tell me Kirk won't? Also Cook is the power of Minnesota and TB is designed to stop the run. They are the best run stopping defense. So good chance Kirk will have to win it for the Vikings and I just have to bet against him in a must win game for the Vikings

Looks like we've got yet another perfect week so I'll take the

for the next one

Four years ago, I attended my first and only football game - a mid-season matchup between the post-Fitzpatrick Jets (in Bryce Petty's first start), and the pre-McVay Rams (in Case Keenum's last). In an absolute barnburner of a game, the Rams pulled off a 9-6 victory in a game in which one total touchdown was scored (by the Jets, amazingly!), and the Jets blew it with an interception at three minutes left in the fourth quarter that caused me to get up and leave MetLife.

The first matchup since then between these teams...will not be nearly as close or as interesting as that one.

Go Seahawks. Alex Smith and Gibson may both be out this week. I will save Tennessee for possible use against the Texans later.
