is Johannes Berger: Male, Mid-Late 40s Tall, Skinny, South African accent, Dark Hair - Dressed in a suit and tie. Carrying Briefcase

Primate

 is Harry Carrouthers: Male, 60s Medium Build, using a cane, white haired, wearing thick glasses. Jacket and shirt with a slash down each arm, exposing skin (Formerly Jesternl)


As you'd expect in here, there are popcorn machines, candy, colas, a lot of seats but no movies currently screening - the rooms are lit up.

Johannes walks back and forth along the aisles of the south theatre.
The ticket machine is turned off. It looks like it used to accept credit cards for tickets
Captain Meme has some unpopped popcorn - probably not safe to take the popped stuff - that looks pretty old.

And Primate disappears out of sight to duck into the bathrooms.

Walk between the seats in the other cinema to look for anything of interest

Mod note: i am currently experiencing a power cut, so i cant process choices at present time

"Which reminds me, Jia, I didn't intend to hold onto this... Wouldn't want to leave you defenseless if a drone pops up, now that they know to look for you."

Search cupboard

VLADDDABOOOOOOOOM

There is a bone shuddering and violent explosion from far below. Every one of you is thrown to the ground from where you stand. Your ears are ringing. Popcorn and candy spilled everywhere. Something happened elsewhere in the mall.

Harry walks back out of the bathroom pushing a wheelchair.

[Primate]

"What the hell was that? Is everyone alright?"

[Primate]

Examine the Loos with the urinals

“I have a sinking feeling about that...”

Verify elevators are still operating

The Men's loos are empty, and lack any graffiti.
The elevators are functional.

[Primate]

"Lets complete the set then."

Examine the women's loos

[ambic]

It's nowhere near as interesting as you hoped

Its empty - There is toilet paper if you really want it.

[Primate]

"Hey guys, looks like the toilets were a busted flush."

[Primate]

Move into the southern cinema and try the exit door

"I don't have a light source by the way, sorry, Johannes. If you need another set of eyes I'll happily oblige."

“My concern if the explosions has come from so far below as it seems is that it must be in the basement. And if the generators are still operational, perhaps it was the gas lines.”
“My additional concern is that if the gas lines are now open, we might expect another, larger explosion... be prepared! At least as much as is possible!”

The exit door at the south seems to lead out to the street below - via a rusty looking emergency exit. It might be okay to descend, but you might not want to risk returning back up it - its past it's best.
