So let's turn the portal on. I suppose we need to test it for damage. So Ill send it to the eatery push the clone through it part way and take her back again.

What else? I guess we need to position Nexus and her sister in a way that looks like they exploded in the blast. Considering I changed the PIN and the laundry chute in now blocked it seems unnecessary but just in case.

Im trying to work out if I've been completely exposed now. I assume I have to go back to the eatery regardless? Because 1 option would be to stay here and send Frankie instead. The other is to arrive back early and try to convince them about what happened.

You said the Frankenstein returns here, can I still control what room he goes to even if Im not in the same room? You said each new phase, so does that mean every non-eatery phase or

every

phase? Sigh, I still potentially have 6 people to kill...

-The body has glass in in, and looks as much like it exploded as you can make it
-The portal opens to the Eatery - you can travel there now. The body travels in partially and back again.
-Nexus and Sister are moved just in case.
-The portal comes out behind the Mr Wok area. What this means is when everyone returns the to eatery, you wont be visible. You will become visible once you speak, or do something.
-The Frankenstein will return here - you will be able to return here via the portal and change it to a new location. How that will work - During the Eatery phase PM me to say "Change Portal to Library" (non-existent example) and "Send Frankenstein to Gift Store". I'll enact it as if the portal took you directly to the Library.
-If ANYONE goes behind the Mr Wok area (or anyof them in fact) they will find the portal. That would be bad luck because there shouldnt be any incentive to do so now.

Examine drain, generator and portal.

-The drain is in case the lab floods. Hasn't happened so far.
-The generator is malfunctioning. Hmmmm.... that's not good. You get out Pooky's geiger counter. THe geiger counter suggests an elevated level of radiation, but it's low enough to not worry about it for now. It's likely leaking radiation under the mall.
-And of course the portal is functional.

What exactly is my generator powering? And was it damaged before the explosion? Do I need to fix it, essentially?

It was keeping the clones (and Sarsha) alive. THe one surviving male clone has enough power.

You dont need to do anything, but I will warn you if you do need to do something (via the geiger counter)

(In reality, there is a way you can be affected by this, but as things have panned out it's really unlikely. Crazy unlikely. I'll deal with it if it somehow happens. It won't)

The switch by the secret door? Is that a light switch? or does it power things?

The explosion, according to the drawing looks like it missed the laser? Anything that can be salvaged from that?

(I think beyond making a plan of attack, Im probably done here for now, but I can still try!)

THe switch by the door is what activates the app on the laptop to change the security pin.

Lame, I know, Its a left over artifact from a design change I made when I was making the game, that I forgot about

So wait, if I turn the switch off now, the app will disappear? And in the unlikely event someone gets in they would have to reflick the switch to change the code? Does it remain my code if I do that? I'm thinking it's useful just purely to add an extra hurdle...

If anyone gets in here, they can use the switch to activate the app, and then change the pin. I REALLY wish I'd made that mechanism more sensible now - it's really grating on me

Anyway, you can hear people through the wall on the east. As you look over to the wall, you remember there is an old door there that you blocked up years ago. They probably can't open it from their side, without tools. Probably...

When you return the eatery, you will be announced as not in sight.

The wording will be something like

"The first thing you notice: Both Cindy (Nexus) and Xavier (Porochaz) are nowhere to be seen."

Of course, as far as you know, Cindy is the only

missing

person, so if anyone else is missing, I'm not giving that away more just yet. Once you speak or post in thread, people will see you arent missing any more. If they find you in the Mr Wok area they will also know. Or you can just PM me, and have me announce your grand re-entry.

You can open the door. It opens toward the people. THey dont have door handles or anything on their side.

You can hear 3 people talking about how to pop hinges, because well, the door opens in the direction that forces the hinges to be on their side ($$&#*&@), they are currently working on said hinges having proven Im a moron.

They are attempting to use tools to force the door now.

The door vaporises - revealing Jia, Johannes and Harry all standing there. Jia had shot her energy gun at the door, and then the ceiling collapses hiding all three from sight. They should have considered the fact that they vaporised support beams. Part of your ceiling collapses too, but your technology is unharmed.

Thats a shame, the last surviving clone will die now. Oh well.

Your geiger counter is no longer going off. They disintegrated your radioactive compounds. For the sake of the story, the radioactive compounds are not in the air being breathed in
