"Why, thank you! Feel free to browse, but please be careful. If you want to buy anything I will handle it for y- wait just a second please!"

As Charlie approaches the Ancient Documents and Forms, Pat points to a box of disposable gloves on the countertop, marked 'Free to Customers'.

"If you're going to look through those, please use the gloves. Fingerprints can damage these kind of items irreparably."

The clock here reads 11pm, on the dot.
Sometimes when I'm thinking of a track to submit, I think to myself "okay I could submit X, but I know a lot of people won't care for it, there's no point in wasting their time and mine". Glad to see [CaptainMeme] isn't burdened by such thoughts.

I'll apologise and take the gloves, put them on, then continue to look.

Pat gives Charlie a smile and nod as he takes the gloves.

Charlie then goes to have a look through the paperwork.

"Why of course! I would not have put them on display if they could harm customers."

Charlie peruses the Mystical Scrolls.

Pat
: I would suggest talking to Merrick the bookseller in the eatery. He is likely to have some books on that particular topic.

Pat
: I do believe in ghosts my friend, you should too. There are rumours in the mall that there are a few ghosts here. We occassionally get ghost hunters in here looking for them. We have had a couple of deaths in the mall in recent times. We had a security guard die around about a year ago. He died falling off the highest part of the roof. I'd imagine he'd be haunting the place somewhere, though I haven't seen him around. But there was also a body found by security just yesterday. Someone stashed the thing in the Tesla parked outside the gym. I'd personally imagine the ghost of the dead guy will be around somewhere. Security took the body away late last night and cleaned up the Tesla. I believe the police have been called about that body, and they should be arriving at some point soon to take it away. I hope they found somewhere cold to store the body though. The police in these parts are not known for being
punctual
. Hopefully security managed to get whatever happened recorded on their CCTV footage.

"Yeah. The Guard's around. I've got a photo of him from a couple of days ago in the main hall. Was wondering if there was some way of communicating with or summoning him? Finding out what happened up on the roof. I've got some literature about protecting from ghosts, but not much about how to work with them."

"Who was the person who died yesterday?"

Pat:
No idea sorry. I wasn't around when it happened. I only found out when security found the body and then moved it away on one of their robotic trolleys.

It seems to be an antique mirror, and its on wheels. The rims are gold plated. Its not cheap though. Pat wants 1,500 bucks for it

You see yourself in the mirror, looking great as per usual.

Pat answers, it's protection. The vampires and I don't get along. I don't want them sending some muggins to break my mirror. They keep convincing people around here to break the darn things when they find them.
