I keep getting an error message when I try to change my avatar. This is what I keep getting:

Unable to upload file

File : usercp_avatar.php

What are the: file name, file format(png,jpg,gif,...), file size, and image resolution?

Avatar changing works on my end.

Um, no idea how to check that on my Macbook. I'll post the picture but I think I might see the problem (file size)

The site doesn't resize the avatar for you; you have to do that yourself.

I'm getting the same 'debug mode Line 257' problem.
The size is 83x99 pixels, the file size is 24.4 kB, and the type is jpg. I can't even change back to my old one, which used to work.
Help please?

Actually, i also had trouble with an url when i tried a with my first avatar last april. I ended up right clicking and saving Darth Penguin then uploading the img from my computer...

Nevermind! I found the problem. Apparently when you save something as .bmp then change it to .gif, it won't let you upload the file. You have to actually save the file as .gif/.jpg/whatever.
