Private Message e-mail notification bug

I received an e-mail saying that frostmaster has sent me a private message. But frostmaster doesn't exist and I have no private message. What the heck?

Perhaps he deleted it from his outbox before you got to it?

As for him not existing, I have no idea.

Frostmaster has sent spammy messages for another mafia site to many players, and it seems all of them have joined in 2009. I also got one. It's possible that he deleted it or something.

mith probably deleted the spam posts. I got one of those notifications the other day, but there turned out to be no post.

Ugh. Same thing just happened to me. I'd almost rather the spam stayed in my PM folder so I could just go "oh, spam" and delete it, as opposed to getting all confused about phantom PMs.
