Can I reset account?

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Sat Jan 16, 2010 2:24 pm

Post by Inquisitor JL »

I haven't been too this site on ages. I wasn't very good - I dropped out half way through a lot of games and I don't feel able to start again from where I was. If possible I'd like to reset my account and start from scratch - 0 posts and stuff. If not possible can I least have it treated as if I haven't played in any games. I don't want to be joining a newbie game and be treated as if I've played a few - I want to do it as a newbie. Beyond the rules I can't remember anything.

Thanks for the help.

Your account can't be reset or deleted, as this would cause unsightly holes and other confusions in the old games. Instead, you have two routes:

1. Take that record off of your signature and wiki, if you have one, and join a Newbie, explaining your situation to the authorities there if they somehow recognize you, which is of course doubtful.

2. Completely dump your identity by creating an alt.

I agree; 1 is best, as it shows you can change, and you get credit for time served.
Retired as of October 2014.

Well I went with one. I'm just gonna try playing one game at a time until I'm sure I can do that. And if I somehow get good at this people won't remember my fail 2 years ago
