Regular users can't edit their own posts? Que? Rather disruptive when one tries to update his signup post :)
I mean, okay, editing is a big no-no, but topic starter should be exempt, IMO.

When I set it up, users can't edit their own posts in the game threads but can in all others. If mith changed it, then he probably had a reason...

It hasn't been changed, I can edit fine in other forums. I'm guessing Antrax was just referring to the various games forums.

Actually, if it could be handled that way, it might be better than the current sytem. Like Antrax was saying, couldn't the topic starter be exempt from the editing block on that thread? There would be less of a need for mod status if you could set it up that way.
