FAQ: Why isn't My account activated?

There are a hundred and one threads asking this question, so I thought I'd take the liberty of attempting to de-clutter the Help board and stop more threads like this by posting this.
Accounts need to be personally activated by mith, the owner and main operator of the site. Unfortunatly for us, mith actually has a LifeTM, and, as such, it may be several days to a week until your account is activated.

I made a hydra account, with the same email for this account. (Forgot lol) Is that ok?

I'm pretty sure Flay can handle just about everything mith can handle, but defers out of respect.
Regardless, the PM has gone to both mith and Flay, numerous times. I am disappointed in the turnaround time.

Well I pm'd Mith like two times so maybe that's why he hasn't gotten to yours. (But he hasn't even gotten to me : [ )

Okay, Irish Carbomb (Faraday & Reck hydra) has been waiting to be activated for a week now... what gives?

It usually takes a loooong time. PMing mith may or may not help in such cases.
Best bet is usually just to use a proxy so it doesn't flag you. Ever.
