DONE: Consistency in periods for [countdown] tags

I noticed this while trying out the tag in my Mediocrity games; the countdown tag, as currently implemented, switches from showing in the form:

# days, # hours, # minutes

to:

The countdown has expired.

...meaning that if you put a period after the text to make the former complete a sentence, you have two after it expires. Removing the period from the latter or adding it to the former would avoid this problem.
advice from a trans otherkin queer plural system: you don't have to accept what normal says it's possible for you to be.

Done. We removed one and forgot to do the other.
Retired as of October 2014.
