Help - can't read my messages!

I got 4 pms while my inbox was full and now that I've cleared it, I cannot get them, but they seem to still be there (4 new messages).

The counter is off, probably.
OIC - did you check your
user profile to see if you have 'hold back new messages' checked? They should come in if they still exist...

I'm getting new messages, but when I check them, it still says 4 new messages uptop, but 1 new message (standard) in my inbox? Idk...
