No edit message?

It left a message when I edited one of my posts in General Discussion. ;There may be a small time from in which you can edit a post without evidence of it being edited.

I just edited one of my posts, and it didn't leave an edit message in it. Does this only happen when editing the last post of a thread, or does it apply all over? The reason I ask is that, while I certainly do not mind that no evidence is left of my inability to get a post right on the first try, this would be a less desireable feature in a mafia game...

In my Dune mafia sign-up thread, I have edited the first post a number of times in the course of a few days. I can see nowhere that I have done that....* edits to check whether that shows up *

My only guess is that there is a time frame for editing without a message, and maybe you can edit the first post of a topic without a message? I got an edit message in GD just now.

I notice that Luna left a few [edited] trails behind also. ;I think it might have something to do with the user type.Mith, Q, and Luna are all Super Admin. ;Maybe only they get stamped when editing posts, hahahahhaha
